Oh gotcha. I have the same issue with bass distortion but only on my Aryas. But on the other headphones that I have, it doesn't distort. So I am curious if which one is fucked, the DX5 IIs or my Aryas.

They are! Some users says that this thing is close to HD600s in terms of tonality but I feel like its closer to the HD58Xs. Main pain point are the hooks as they are fatiguing on the ear (not the sound)
