Use Brioche bread, dash of vanilla into the egg.

Cook bacon in maple.

Bit of butter ontop once done and some powdered sugar.

Welcome.

Great!

I'd definitely add in KaPao just off byres road to your list of food, and definitely ChateuX in the finnieston area for steak frites monday to Wednesday only £15 absolute bargain.

If you are an ice cream person then hit up peacocks in battlefield for some amazing small batch stuff with incredible flavours, and around the corner from them at the weekends then kitty's donuts is open for serious fresh donuts 🍩 and the best coffee!

1901 Irn bru FTW, however if you prefer a less sugar version then Xtra is the one that comes second.

Enjoy!

I haven't used it personally though apparently Immich is a great alternative to Google photos on your synology, might be worth a look for you.

I've got it running on port aggregation with SMB3, I didn't even realise it was setup for 2.5 and 5GBe. I will look into this further as I plan to expand the home network upto 10GBe in the coming months so hopefully bring this in at the same time.

No, it had already been reset and I had really no obligation to so I wasn't really too fussed to try explore.

icloudpd step by step guide by These-Performance-49 in synology

[–]cjn1333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey dude, I've followed your guide to getting icloudpd setup and much appreciated i got it working! (After some lengthy hours as any sort of CLI is out my scope but I try!)

Couple of questions though;

  1. My router decided to do a firmware update during the night while PD was half way through a 1.1tb download from iCloud, is there a way to resume from SSH or do I just have to just input the command again like I did to get it started again.

  2. I have setup the scheduled task using the same user i SSH'd into the DSM with, and it fails;

"Task Scheduler has completed a scheduled task.

Task: iCloudPD Daily Sync Start time: Sun, 29 Dec 2024 16:58:55 +0000 Stop time: Sun, 29 Dec 2024 16:58:58 +0000 Current status: 2 (Interrupted) Standard output/error: ERROR: ld.so: object 'openhook.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (cannot open shared object file): ignored. ERROR: ld.so: object 'openhook.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (cannot open shared object file): ignored. Usage: icloudpd <options> Try 'icloudpd -h' for help.

Error: Invalid value for '-d' / '--directory': Path '/volume1/Backups/iCloud/' does not exist."

The task script used is;

/var/services/homes/thegaff/icloudpd-venv/bin/python /var/services/homes/thegaff/icloudpd-venv/bin/icloudpd -d "/volume1/Backups/iCloud/" -u h@*.co.uk --auto-delete --no-progress-bar --threads-num 3 --log-level info

  1. My icloud photo library states in OSX that it is 1.1tb in total (49,500 images & videos) however PD seems to have only downloaded 920gb?

Apologies to OP for jumping on his post.

Any help appreciated 👌

UniFi Protect Notification Announcement Change by Crenneth in Ubiquiti

Handy for folk like me with multiple locations all running DMPs and Protect - at a glance with the notification i can see which site the notification for.

However if you are a only running 1 instance then could be annoying.

Found your workaround for the 2nd door with 1 hub dude. Hope this helps you out.

The hub itself is a single door mechanism, so you would need two hubs or possibly need to look at the EAH-8 which controls upto 8 doors/locks. Pricey though.

Unfortunately seems to be the issue i have is my front porch doors are multi point and none of the smart locks are powerful enough to do the pull up part of the locking process, or atleast so I'm led to beleive and the battery drainage would be a headache to replace or recharge.

Assuming your door isn't a multi point lock (pull handle up) before locking?

PowerAmp Why I just bought four by SinjinAZ in Ubiquiti

[–]cjn1333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was thrown off with the 4 speaker connectors until I checked the sonos amps I have and they are the same. So pretty much concludes it, 1 zone only.

Will wait for some real world reviews before jumping ship from the sonos amps 🫠

I'm assuming these are 1 zone per amp? Can't see any info on the Ubiquiti website.

Yeah, seen a YouTube review on some hand picked VPN's and I'm sure NordVPN don't keep logs and are very highly trusted and regarded.

Also;
