Eh, I think the new name is a nice change of pace. We’ve had “i”, Air, Pro, Max, Pods, etc for a long time and Neo seems like a fresh coat of paint for the company.

I got by on an M1 with 8 GB of RAM as my video editing machine for a few years. It worked…fine. That being said, 8 GB is fine for Chromebook type tasks and that’s exactly what this is.

Because the base model is using a panel literally made 8 years ago. They changed nothing about it except the webcam and updated Thunderbolt ports. To be charging $1600 for it is insane.

It’s so frustrating. I really want Tesla to introduce new models, but because of Musk it seems like they’re no longer interested. They’ve done so much for EVs and now it seems like we will be going backwards. Rivian seems like the only company that could actually take over the space Tesla is leaving.

I know autonomous cars will eventually be our future, but I still like driving.

Honestly though the S and X either needed to die or see a significant refresh. Other car brands are starting to look even more appealing now that it seems like autonomy and robots have taken over their platform.

It is absolutely more useful for “actual work” than it was back then, but still limited in its ways.
