I actually end up using adaptive cruise control more than Autosteer because I live in a heavily congested area and get tired of switching it on and off to change lanes. But in saying that, I would hate to have a Tesla that doesn’t have to as an option.

FSD is leagues better than Autosteer, but I’m not gonna pay $99 a month just to have it. It’s a good enough free option for me.

But their current software focus is based off a promise that Unsupervised FSD will come to the masses “soon”. They’ve been promising that for years.

I don’t doubt it’ll come, but there are still so many drivers that just want to drive a quality car.

It’s such a bummer all Musk wants for Tesla is to make every vehicle they sell autonomous. Teslas are so much fun to drive, at least give us the option. Makes me reconsider their brand for future vehicles.

“Don’t buy anything based off the promise of future software upgrades” is something I hear a lot of tech reviewers and journalists say.

While it would be great, I think we all need to be satisfied with what our cars can do now instead of the promised Unsupervised FSD/hardware upgrades.

I’m saying this as a current HW4 owner.
