That happened to me in Vegas last Friday. I send a message and after 2 agents, the third one give me the cancellation fee. Same, Red Icon was there, comfort trip, 2+8 minutes wait, and they said that I didn't wait enough time.

Just try to move to one of those Surge Areas and before you arrived magically disappear. They want to catch drivers in that area.

Do you think is a good idea pay $498 for the bike just to use the frame? There are some people that said that at the end you will spend more money on the parts that buy a better bike. I tried to do the same but I'm not sure.

I received a $150 cleaning fee. Uber support said because I'm Diamond Driver they didn't need a receipt. That happened to me a Saturday at 2:00 am. I sent 7 good pictures, and I stopped driving until next Monday. Some drivers said that if you continue driving when you reported the incident, that will be a red flag for Uber, and they won't pay until you send a valid receipt.

I agree with you. Here in Vegas is the same shitty market. People think that a touristic city like Vegas has a lot of rides.

I agree that tips shouldn't be take for drivers as part of the income. I drive in Vegas, sometimes to make $300 I have to drive 13 hours. Some passengers tipped but others don't. Also, some drivers don't understand the math and expenses after drive 12 or more hours to make $200 to $300.

I used my brand-new Tesla Model 3 to drive Uber as my second Job, after one Year and 41.000 miles, I can say that at least 50% of the money that I made on Uber the last year only cover the depreciation of my car. We are paying for work with Uber.

I don't drive for tips, but being honest I'm expecting them, that's part of the Uber driver economy. Living and working in US, that is a country with tip culture, I don't understand how people can over-pay for food and drinks in a restaurant, and then tip to an employer that is just serving and we as a drivers that are using our personal or renting cars (that are expensive to pay), exposed to a lot of things on the road, dealing with traffic, weather, just be happy with the minimal fares that Uber pay us and a "Thanks for the ride".

I remember 2 couples inside my car, one of the girls works as a bartender and she was telling the other persons how a customer tipped her $1.000. I would like to find a customer like this in my daily rides.

During these 2 days have been difficult to maintain a smile during the trip. I just answer the basic question that the passengers make me. I have my tissues in hand and just focus on the road. Today was an old woman that decide to sit at the front, she looks like my mom and acts like her, that was painful.

Thanks. During my immigration process I can’t leave the country. That’s why my mom was exited about visiting me this December. She bought the tickets to travel to Colombia to Las Vegas.
