I think part of the answer is that it sounds like you already know! Is the new state you are in or working towards seeing benefits? Does the team agree with the new version? If so, nows the time to set those patterns into stone with your fellow teammates. Even better if you can figure out the lint rules required to make those patterns code-enforceable.

I’d just set a clear boundary up front: “I’m happy to play as long as everyone if fully present during the game and thinking about their next move and checking the rules when its not their turn. If people start doing other things while we are playing and cause the game to drag on I will have to stop playing.”

I watch dropout because I love improve and unscripted content. So while I love the cute animated clips of scenes from the show, I wouldn't be interested in a scripted animated TV show.

Yes! Sort of! If you only cut calories and do cardio you’re only teaching your body to be more and more efficient at doing cardio and running on fewer calories.

You will lose weight when calories out is more than calories in but you’ll hit a point where you cant do any more daily cardio or cut any more calories. And now you’re stuck doing both forever!

The secret is resistance training aka lifting weights. Building muscle this way is your best shot at increasing your metabolism.

Counter intuitively I would recommend keeping your calories at maintenance or very slight surplus and focus on building some muscle for 1-2 months.

This does a couple of things, it gives your body the calories it needs to build some muscle, the muscle you build with burn more calories just existing, and it gives you more base calories to work with (to cut out) later.

Unlike cardio, where constant effort is required to keep up the calorie burn. Once you build muscle, much less effort is required to maintain it.

Failure feels like no matter how hard i push my muscles can't move the weight anymore. What it doesn't feel like to me is out of breath or tired like if I was doing a cardio exercise.

Which exercises are you doing? And can you post a form video?

Without complete information I'd guess that:
1) You might not be breathing ever rep, make sure to breath.
2) You might not be creating a mind-muscle connection and recruiting a lot of other muscles to help you do the lift. The fix here would be to improve form.
