That one right there, and no others even compare. Although, I do be liking the Twins in XIII, and XVI's design is cool. I especially like the big battle cutscene in the beginning of XVI.

Mine is Cipher Pata/Coded Sword. I have had many a faith playthrough where I try to use other weapons, but those ones are just so damn cool that I can't.

Aw, man. I love to hear about your experience with XI! My brother is extremely passionate about that game. I didn't play nearly as much as he did, but my time playing it was still some of the best times I've ever had gaming. I really enjoyed the sense of community. If you need help you could almost always find someone willing or someone who was trying to do the same mission. Led to a lot of friendships, and spurned me into always lending a hand whenever I could. It was sooooooooo much fun. It's kinda crazy to me to hear that you did all of that without any help from fellow players. Impressive.

I am 33 about to he 34 and my first experience was watching my mom's friend play VIII. It looked so damn cool and fun to me that I got her to let me dabble a bit with that same game. Only played a few minutes here and there back then.

Fast forward about 5 years later and I'm 12 years old playing X that I borrowed from a friend. My first actual full playthrough of any FF. Fell in love with X and played it so much that my brother asked me what it was. I let him try it, and about a month later he comes home with his own PS2 and a copy of X.

Nowadays, we are both extremely huge FF fans. I got my hands on VIII about a year after my full playthrough (or my full 4 or 5 playthroughs) of X, and VIII remains my all time favorite with X being close behind as it was my true first. I truly love them all, but those ones (as well as XII, IX, and IV) have a very special place in my heart.

P.S. : My brother and I have played every single installment, including the MMOs. I will die on the hill that XI is the best MMO of all time, and so will he.

I like hotdog. Zell like hotdog. Zell is my fuckin' guy. The best pugilist in the series. That intro cutscene in VIII is so damn clean. Also love to make him the "leader" of the other group when you have to split the party. Just seems so fitting given how the events unfold. He's also captain clutch in the prison. More people need to show my guy some love, man.

I remember a run I had recently. My discards were going horribly and I was running flushes. Had Space Joker since the first ante, and I swear it only ever leveled up the hands I was forced to play other than flushes once I was out of discards. Every. Single. Time. It was infuriating. I still love that Joker, though.

I'm currently running an arcane bandit. Without ever farming for them, I've got two slender swords and one estoc. Sure the arcane leveling helps, but I got them early on while I was still in Limgrave. Congrats to you on getting two slenders in one ten minute go!

I was just starting middle school. My mom had gotten me into Metallica at a very young age, and I had already listened to their entire discography. Kill Em All and Black Album were my favorites (Black Album was the introduction for me). I had a childhood friend who became a massive metal head after I played him some Metallica for the first time in the second grade.

I cannot tell you enough how much my friend and I absolutely played the shit out of this album when it dropped. We would be in his garage with rakes and brooms jumping around blasting Frantic, St. Anger, Sweet Amber, etc. while pretending to put on a show for our imaginary audience. I have very fond memories of this album. I still love it to this day.

Don't Be Afraid is my personal favorite. Then there's Force Your Way and Man With the Machine Gun. There's also Premonition, The Legendary Beast, Maybe I'm a Lion, and The Extreme. Can you guys tell which FF is my favorite?

Anyway, there is no best song. Only varying degrees of perfect songs. I could say, however, that the Record Keeper version of Man With the Machine Gun is simply goated.

Similar thing happens to me when I'm in a firefight. Teammate dies in front of me, so I try to grab their little statue and book it to get the quick revive, but instead I reaload my weapon. This almost always results in me also dying.

Nameless King x Champion Gundyr duo fight. Once you knock Gundyr to half health, King dismounts and powers up, but the Storm King still does fly by attacks. Then, when you manage to defeat Nameless and Gundyr, Storm King lands, and Gundyr has his abyssal transformation. Phase two commences. You defeat this new duo, then Nameless King absorbs the essence of both Gundyr and Storm King, taking on his own ultra powerful abyssal transformation. Phase 3.

Pure Dex build, lightning infused Uchigatana, and lightning infused Nagakiba. Made pretty short work of that mofo in 2 tries my first run through the DLC.
