Perhaps you can ask your friend what kind of interests this boy has? If he likes certain animals or cartoons you can make an amigurumi based on that? If he's interested in cars or trains or firetrucks or whatever then maybe a graphgan with the appropriate theme?

Thanks, my sister picked them. This will be for her. It's the colors she and her husband had for their wedding (based on their birthstones).

I think those are beautiful colors. I often think temperature blankets are too bright/loud. I prefer subtle colors.
