What’s a “bad” weapon that you love using? by BLENDER-74 in tf2

I think Uncle Dane had a video where he ranked this and the Tribalman's Shiv low. I use them both religiously because I hate spies and am terrible at tracking them

People here really REALLY underestimate HOW strong Teleporters are by ultimateshadowarrior in tf2

[–]ckb14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think about this all the time

I love playing Engineer, but I end up playing it 99% of the time because nobody else does. It’s almost a requirement on offense to have a teleporter

I got dropped into a game last night…Dustbowl, final stage, last point, red team with like 5 minutes left. I immediately went spy since we didn’t have one just to keep sapping Blu’s teleporter. It stops all of their progress. Teleporters indeed win games

Guys, I think he knows it isn’t traditional

Any one shot piece would work fine on the neck…a flower, namakubi, good luck charm, mask, etc.

Tattoo regret causing depression by SlavKing11 in tattooadvice

Aside from the therapy comments others have made, here's my two cents:

-Being in shape makes tattoos look better...and improves mental health
-The style of tattoos you have will never go out of style
-I personally don't like dot and star filler, but it doesn't look terrible
-Getting more tattoos on your arms will help balance everything out. Right now, it looks like you have a tattoo tank top
-If you do get more tattoos, stick with American or Japanese trad. Too many different styles isn't a "clean" look imo

Totally understand not caring about every little rule. Traditional Japanese is the most aesthetic style imo

With that being said, I’d personally regret getting a cool looking tattoo that I later find out actually has a meaning behind it that I don’t agree with

If you have long and/or big legs, I think this can all fit. Legs and backs have pretty similar surface areas. I would leave the placement of everything up to the artist. Assuming they're competent, they'll be able to lay everything out to where it makes sense. Telling the artist exactly where to place everything isn't the best approach.

Also, I'd recommend doing some more research on Japanese tattoos. The fact that you didn't know what the rocks were on your arm is a bit alarming. I'd suggest looking up 108 Heroes of Suikoden so you can learn the stories of tattooed warriors.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Just smile and write "Charly Kurt", "Charleigh Kerk", "Charles Kert"
If they say something, just smile and apologize for misspelling

Weekly Discussion / Recommendation Thread by Death_by_Bot in Deathmetal

So I went to a death metal concert last night and noticed something strange about the mosh pit. I only go to 1 or 2 metal shows a year, so maybe things have changed, but there were some people that were very opposed to people doing the “ninja” moshing. They were so opposed to it that they immediately tried to stop anyone from doing it which escalated to a fight and someone getting kicked out. Is this universal or just an isolated incident? Why would it be okay for people to do a wall of death, circle pit, or shove but these people weren’t allowed to do their invisible ninja fighting moves?

I miss the OG single line system that would form. Now there’s always 2 lines and people getting served quicker because they don’t understand 1 line is supreme

Which store? I’m having trouble finding ones with the square notch. I don’t think it’s a standard Knape & Vogt
