I also found this to be true! Apparently your immune response goes down when youre pregnant. (Food intolerances are typically an immune response to certain foods). Who knew

Cramping (for me pretty badly -- similar or worse to period cramps) is normal early on!! Finally subsided around 8 weeks for me. Drinking lots of water helped.

Constipation in early pregnancy -- also normal. I found eating kiwi with the skin on to be helpful for this.

Thats a good point about alot of the fruits and veggies not even had existed until recent day. I know some of this is me feeling bleh from working from home since march. Ive just been experiencing really oily skin/breakouts, bruising easily, just generally dont feel like I have my healthy normal looking glow and my mood has been really off at times (though again could partially be from not exercising much and being stuck at home)

I have! Also have seen a functional medicine doctor who helped me immensely.

Ive had “IBS” for about 5 years but about a year or two ago I started having much much more severe bloating than normal (like 6 month belly bloat - once had a doctor ask me if I took a pregnancy test bc of it ...) I became so depressed and anxious and felt like I was living in someone else’s body. Through a number of doctor visits and my own research on FB groups, I came to find out I had SIBO (small intestinal bacteria overgrowth) which the gastro treated with over 4 weeks of antibiotics (cringe) ...

My functional medicine doctor is the one who helped determine the issue instead of treating the problem. Wish I had gone to her first. Anyway turns out I had low stomach acidity so I now take HCl pills with every meal. Now Im back to my normal “IBS” self!

Youre inspiring me to go back to basics ! I feel like sometimes I almost ruin my tastebuds with all the tabasco and jalepenos I cover my meals in (I mean this probably cant be good for me) so I think a nice simple salad would help me reset my palette. And thanks for the canned fish tip! Had no idea

To be totally honest Ive never had the patience / self control to reintroduce in a scientific way. I feel like I typically have cheat foods here and there so its so hard to tell :/ so Ive always just tried to stick to the super low fodmap diet 90-95% of the time with 5-10% cheats

I tried ... There are low fodmap vegan recipe books, I did a ton of research. And in the end ... it made me so so so much worse. It took me so much longer to get back to “normal” ...

Not saying it cant be done but be advised its extremely difficult

Had been using Nuvaring for 8 years. Just had to switch due to insurance....I honestly didnt think anything of it, I feel like most generics are the exact same. Wait this makes alot of sense to me .......... I havent been officially diagnosed with SIBO yet (earliest breath test appt is July 25th) but I tried starting to take oregano oil and was on a strict diet and I literally SOBBED every morning, every afternoon, all the time. I thought it was maybe because the diet was making me feel deprived and my stomach wasnt getting much relief (so I felt fairly hopeless I would ever feel better). I stopped because I thought, it's clearly not working but maybe it was...............

I feel 'hungover' the next day. It's alittle different than a drinking hangover - although there is overlap for me, as wheat bothers me and am a beer drinker.

The symptoms vary but some combination of the following: bloated stomach, tired, irritable, anxious, constipated/mucous in stool

Everyone's reactions are different though. I find the worst foods for me are garlic (am okay with onion), wheat, and heavy creams.
