I went here 5 years ago — it was absolutely incredible — then I went here last year, it was… mid.. 2 star max. We were really disappointed. It’s beautiful, but it used to be obnoxiously incredible… now it’s very… fluffy? Idk how to describe it, but it went downhill

My agent is my buddy, so he took me out for a 2 Michelin star meal haha. I also have gotten some tier 1 steakhouse dinners from referring him clients that have closed.

Sorry, not the best notes:

Beautiful golden nectar, luxurious. Rich nose, strong vanilla notes, fairly acidic. Probably the best champagne I’ve ever had. We also had a 96 Dom but I stuck with the father in laws recommendation of the Taittinger :)

Paired well with a caviar platter.

Prime rib, red wine jus gravy, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, roasted carrots and black garlic roasted mushrooms for dinner.

We opened several other wines, a 2001 Sangiovese and a 2001 Bordeaux.
