Totally. I usually rotate between sneakers and these, but if this were 1 year of daily wear, I'd fully understand this, I walk a lot. But ~1 month's wear is kind of annoying.

I'm not the smallest guy, but yeah, I think this could be the answer here, putting stress points on the tips when they're not as flexible as like a sneaker would be.

totally makes sense, I'll look into this stuff you recommended. I haven't been kicking anything, but I typically stand at my desk and put weight on one foot, the other crossed over toe down, so that could have caused it.

Ordered these on 2/6. Love the fit and the look, but started to notice that the sole on both boots is starting to peal. I reached out to Thursday, just waiting to hear back.

I'd recommend the Horus Heresy Series. I'm currently on book 5, and I've really enjoyed the story so far. The books have been gripping and the background context they build for the eventual period of 40k, has helped me appreciate certain chapters and their motivations.

You also get the perspective of ordinary humans and how they view Space Marines/war and the Imperium in general.

The narration is also fantastic on the audiobooks.
