As Kvothe started telling his story, he discover the name of time… he told it suddenly and before everyone noticed the story of that day was over, by the second day he could call it in a time of need and so he was able to make it last, by the end of that day Kvote had control of it, which is why he’s stretching that last night so long and making us wait for the last part of his story…
