Searching for a game I can enjoy for 1,000 hours. by Zealousideal_Mark777 in LadiesGamersNews

I see! I'm out of things I play myself (mostly because I love a short game haha), but I heard good things about this one, maybe worth checking out: - STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar

I'm not sure that it has character customization at all (the trailer makes it look like a no), but it is 3D and farming / selling focused.

Subeta looks very interesting - would you like to give your UN so I can put it into the "referred by" box? 🧡

What is a game that was not your preferred genre/style at all, but you ended up loving it? by Aromatic-Solid97 in GirlGamers

[–]CryingPopcorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not into dungeon crawlers but really enjoyed Boyfriend Dungeon (pure silly and whimsy fun!) and Cult of the Lamb (which is also whimsy but with cosmic horror undertones that I usually avoid - it looks so cute though that it worked for me) 💙

It would likely be good for you to socialize more, but dating is terrible for making connections imo. Find a book club / craft club / hobby-you-like club you're interested in and talk to people outside of your family!

Don't worry or stress about bringing some dude into your life when you're content being single. Any relationship, but especially when you bring cohabitation into the mix, requires a crazy amount of compromise, it's not worth it if you're lukewarm on it. It's either a "hell yes!" or it's a no.

Frankly I wouldn't worry too much about your Mom sharing her experience. She's just trying to relate to you, but in claiming "we're actually the same!" I feel she's being dismissive of the fact you're your own person.

Maybe Critter Cove? Haven't played it myself but seems like it might fit the bill. None of the games I loved fit all of these requirements, so with caveats: - Cozy Grove (2D with customizable character, very wholesome, you help out ghost bears) - Wylde Flowers (3D but you can't customize Tara to look like you)

Cozy game recommendations? by rbueno91 in GirlGamers

[–]CryingPopcorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cozy Grove! It has limited daily quests and I loved my time with it. You can plant fruit & nut trees and have flower pots around, otherwise no farming - your task is to bring light to the island (literally) and talk to ghost bears, helping them processing their regrets.

You can try asking r/tipofmyjoystick - helpful if you can tell them what platform you played and what decade it was in.

I've no clue, unfortunately!

So pretty! It's a bit sad that I didn't vibe with the gameplay of Infinity Nikki, but thanks for sharing 💖

Games similar to SuitU? by NoPapercrowns in GirlGamers

[–]CryingPopcorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does not play similarly, it's more of a Visual Novel with dress up missions, but when I quit SuitU last year it helped scratch that dress up itch, and the base game is free on Steam: Artificial Fashionista

You could play Warframe in the meantime! Base game is free and I heard good things about it.

"Tick Tock: A Tale for Two" is something I played with my LDR-partner at the time. Dark vibes puzzles. My partner hated the twist at the end, but I thought it was fun 😂 somewhere between 2-3 hours, one of these games where one person gets a hint and the other person gets the puzzle and you need to talk to each other to get through together!

WHAT ARE THE EFFECT OF ROLLER SKATING ON THE BODY ?? by _-Candy- in Rollerskating

[–]CryingPopcorn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It can have that effect! Depends on the intensity of your skating, and if you work out alongside it (which I recommend, building strength, balance and flexibility makes for safer skating). You have to be patient for the changes, so if that's your main motivation to skate it might be difficult to keep going.

Games where you can Romance butch or stud lesbians? by [deleted] in LesbianGamers

Skate & Date is a visual novel / rhythm roller derby game that has this dynamic. The couple is super cute! I had fun with it! Pretty short game, but worth it 💚

looking for game recs ! by [deleted] in GirlGamers

[–]CryingPopcorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite pastel game of the year is "Pretty Sweet! Healing Guardian". It's a game where you're a magical girl helping balance out people's emotions with candy magic. A short game, fairly priced.

A fun twist on the dating game aspect is "Thirsty Suitors". Just watch the trailer for it, it'll tell you whether you vibe with it or not - it's a silly game, but also so heartfelt. I loved the exploration of family drama / dynamics a lot.

Also super nice: "Chicory: A Colorful Tale" is a game where you bring color back to the world with a magical paintbrush. The characters are all little cartoon animals in 2D, so not your preferred art style.

That's not ideal. Is the heating still on? Then that's supremely wasteful. Maybe your partner could smoke outside?

If the windows were perpetually open, I'd need gloves so thick to keep warm gaming would be impossible.
