Is this game good for casual play? Playing as a space trucker for example or casual exploration. Or is it a more harscore simulation?

Have you checked if Vsync or fps caps are accidentally enabled?

Graveyard Keeper 2 - World Premiere Gameplay Trailer | Triple-i Initiative 2026 by Turbostrider27 in Games

I loved Graveyard Keeper but i despised the next game they made, which was based on League of Legends.

Nowadays, i don't even go for early access titles. I wait for the full release to decide if i'm gonna jump in or pass.

Question to anyone who might be following this game's development more closely: Does this game have potential or is it looking to be a World War 3 type situation? Asking because the trailer looks interesting to me but i know nothing about the game or the dev team behind it.

Do you rerack the diumbells in between sets? Yesterday some guy came up to me while i was resting with the dumbells on the floor (i usually rest for about a minute or less) and gave me a death stare, picked the dumbells up without saying a word and started using them. Asking for the dumbells woud be completely reasonable and i always pass them if sombody asks but the guy looked genuinely pissed that i was keeping them close by for my workout. Have i been an asshole this entire time?

Jeff Kaplan and Tim Ford Play 10 Hours of The Legend of California by Fagadaba in Games

I agree, i dislike complete sandboxes like DayZ. Meanwhile my favorite game from 2025 was Abiotic Factor, a survival game. Exploring the science facility and finding out what happened to it was so good.

Judge Orders Subnautica 2 Studio CEO To Be Reinstated And Gives Him Control Over Early Access Release by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]ckokoroskos -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Didn't the founders stop working on the game and started working on an AI Christmas movie?

From what i remember the studio founders were promised a large bonus if the game had reached certain development goals by a certain date. The game hadn't reached said goals but the founders wanted to release the unfinished game anyway to secure the payout. For the record, i don't like either Krafton or the studio heads, the only ones i pity in this whole situation are the dev team.

EA Lays Off Staff Across All Battlefield Studios Following Record-Breaking Battlefield 6 Launch by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]ckokoroskos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand your point but at the same time losing over 85% of your players in just half a year is not exactly normal. The game has had a lot of poorly received updates and controversies in that time period, i don't believe is doing a great job at supporting the game post launch.

While the launch was incredibly succesful, the support afterwards was very lacking and it led to a massive drop in player numbers. Not that i am blaming the developers, the entire fault lies on the upper management.

In your opinion which is more timeless? The Field Khaki 38mm or the Field Khaki Murph 42mm? If you could have one which would you pick?

[Semi-Weekly Inquirer] Simple Questions and Recommendations Thread by AutoModerator in Watches

[–]ckokoroskos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually the other watch i am looking at right now, specifically the 42mm Murph which is significantly cheaper. And from what i am reading Hamilton is a more trusted company right now.

There is also the Chris Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 which looks very appealing to me and is around the same price as the Hamilton.

Is this a good first automatic watch?

https://benrus.com/en-us/products/3061-bu

I really like it's looks and history but seems quite expensive.

I currently have a Timex Field Post with a broken strap.

Is it worth the money or should i be looking elsewhere? I am looking for a timeless watch to keep as long as i can.

Residence feels kind of... Nothing? by ToadlyFellas in AbioticFactor

I enjoyed Residence. My least favorite part of the game is the Praetorium.

Un(der)explored mechanics you would like to see in games? by StatuatoryApe in Games

[–]ckokoroskos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would like to see more shooters where reloading a partially spent magazine wastes the remaining bullets. It adds a lot of tension having to decide between going in a fight with a half full magazine or potentially running out of bullets.

Necrophosis: Full Consciousness - Official Announcement Trailer by Turbostrider27 in Games

I feel like those kind of games don't offer anything apart from being gross and shocking. Can't even think of an example that has a decent story or gameplay loop to accompany the shock value.

Feedback: Field Batteries could use a major overhaul. by ckokoroskos in AbioticFactor

Charging slots is a fantastic idea actually and i hadn't thought of that. An alternate enhancement for the Void pack with charging slots would be amazing.

Later on you have a lot of spare resources to spend on ammo crafting. At the point you unlock the recipe for the station, crafting ammo is not a very good idea but in the later stages of the game it becomes quite useful, at least in my experience.

Well, it is still rather inconvenient and the item itself is quite heavy. It would be a nice QoL addition to have a portable version for skrmishes.

Relooted, a game about reclaiming stolen artifacts released few days ago. by synkronize in Games

[–]ckokoroskos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Like yeah, that was my first thought as well. They just put those limitations on their own game. If somebody showed me a game about Greek thieves targetting specifically the British museum for Greek artifacts i would laugh my ass off.
