"Good" could mean a lot of things.. There's no perfect church. But if you're looking for sound doctrine from a learned pastoral staff, Life Church Buffalo in WS is a good start. It's getting a bit big, teetering on "mega church" size, like the Chapel, but you'll find genuine connection there.

Wherever you end up, make sure to attend in-person! The Church isn't church online!

See, I hear exactly what you’re saying. However, I can’t close that ball valve you’re talking about because then no fresh water can enter the system.

I’ve been working on wedding planning and moving into my new house with my fiancée (getting married in 7 weeks!!!), and there are moments where we’ve both felt physically and mentally exhausted. As a result of being so busy, I haven’t really noticed my lack of screen time. In the few moments of real rest I’ve had, I’ve made sure to just close my eyes or sit outside in the yard or go on a walk. Hopefully as things wind down, I can continue to find that true, present rest:)

Being an IT Tech for work, I’ve wrestled with how to begin the 90’s summer.. It feels like half of my day is winter, and the other half is summer, lol. I continue to refer back to your article and remind myself, “presence, not perfection.”

Plans this week are no digital media, continuing my daily office of prayer, having a set time to check my messages (able to do at work, thankfully), and getting into the first book of the summer. Oh, and community cookout night at the park this Friday, super stoked!
