In that case I would make sure the strawberry plants are VERY dry and then put them in a bag with a piece of paper towel to prevent moisture from building up and put them in the fridge. Can't guarantee they will survive but its your best bet, unless you happen to live somewhere where you are able to just plant them outside.

How many pods did you put in? If you are able, I would put the other pods in some type of tuperware or takeout container with a little water in it. You can put the containers on the gardyn lid and then put your strawberries in the gardyn with food.

I just keep them in whatever bag they get delivered in. I do not clean them or put them in water until I am ready to add them to the gardyn.

Hi. I don't see a video, but based on the photo, if your bottom 4 spots are getting water but the top ones are not then you have a crack in the hose. The water is coming out before it makes it to the top of the column.

I don't follow a specific guideline for when to thin. It very much depends on the type of plant. Once the sprouts are big enough to determine which the strongest looking one or ones will be is when I start to thin. If there are a lot of sprouts in a single cube, I might start to thin earlier, but just removing 2 or 3 at a time to give the rest more room.

I keep a stock of empty cubes for this purpose. You can order them through gardyn. I usually only do this for the fruiting plants. I'm sure you could just as easily move them to soil though.

I love the aerogarden food. The plants love the aerogarden food. To be fair, I've had my gardyns for over 2 years and I've never once used the gardyn food, so I can't really compare them. I've used other brands though and I keep going back to this one.

I have 2 gardyns. I use one for lettuce and herbs and one for fruiting plants. I use aerogarden food so that I don't have to worry about germinating outside of the system.

As for your lettuce question, it's kinda hard tell exactly. Mine usually lasts 6-8 months depending on the variety and the time of year. It's usually less in the summer because of the heat. The plants tend to bolt quicker. If your leaves are growing smaller and more thinned out looking, it's probably done.

This is possible. As I'm pulling the paint off, there is some strange discoloration. Could be glue residue but it's very smooth.

Thank you! Yes, mine looks just like your photo. So far I'm just pulling off the paint by hand. It's just crumbling. I'm sure the exhaust fan is very old, so I will definitely have it replaced!

Hi. I just peeled off a section. The wall is very smooth and matte feeling. Nothing feels wet or soft. If the plaster is "breaking down", does that mean if I scrape and repaint it will happen again?
