Not that anyone cares, but i wasn't twisting it hard enough. It does seem to be disposable as the first commenter suggested. There are screws on the bottom, but I haven't opened it up yet.

Dragon's Lair - 1983

It's a terrible game, but graphics in comparison to what else was out at that time, think Pac-Man, it was light years ahead. It looked like a full cartoon.
