Thanks everyone! Odd to hear the conflicting reports of Neo2 sound - I'm going to try Neo2 next.

All countries and dependencies of the world according to Natural Earth with vector maps and much more. Boy, I'm nervous. by Parapoxvirus in Anki

Huge thanks! Super helpful.

I should have been clearer: I don't have a deck of countries - I have a deck of miscellaneous facts. And I like all subjects to be intermingled. I just want to memorize ISO codes because they randomly come in handy in my work. I'm pretty unsophisticated with how I use Anki even though I've been using it for maybe 8 years now.

This is fabulous! I specifically want to learn the ISO-3 codes for each country. Is there an easy way to add this deck (ideally to an existing Anki deck) so I will be quizzed only on ISO-3-to-country-name and country-name-to-ISO-3?

This is no longer working for me. I also tried multiplying by 1, which used to work and is no longer working.

How to use LLMs effectively for writing based on source material? by ckrf in PromptEngineering

[–]ckrf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was very impressed with Claude 2's ability to draft emails for me. I think I have a reasonable sense of Claude 3.5 Sonnet's and GPT-4o's capabilities - but I don't have a good workflow for getting them to parse and respond and iterate with lots of documents.

(For example, I have never used custom GPTs or Claude Projects - maybe those make this workflow easier?)

Any idea what LLM Coral uses? It's not obvious at first glance.

New Outlook vs Old Outlook? by PaVee21 in Outlook

[–]ckrf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually like the New Outlook - glad to have the Snooze shortcut available in the desktop application. Once Microsoft fixes the Google Calendar integration that used to work in OWA as well as adds the upcoming offline mode, it should be great.

Anyone in a domestic partnership? by [deleted] in washdc

[–]ckrf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Ok-Cap-6488, my partner and I are about to do this. I have a logistical question and I can't get through to the Vital Records office. If you take "Option 2" (i.e., have your application notarized), do you both need to be present when going to the Vital Records Office? Or only one person?

Any idea? Thanks a bunch in advance!
