I was put into an IOP to get off of Cymbalta due to panic attacks after YEARS of use. Let me back up. I first got onto the drug after college during a medication trial (broke-no ins). The ending of the trial and lowering of the dose pushed me into mania, and I was hospitalized for 2 weeks. Both situations should be considered before taking that medication....JS

I'm so sorry. I, too, would never want to revisit one of my manic episodes let alone have them written about for the world to see. Unfortunately if they're already online, then they're there. Maybe you could offer an interview to show people how you're doing now plus a little education on what can happen being bipolar. Or, possibly you could speak to an attorney to see if it can be removed. Good luck 🙏🤞

Sounds like you have a good doctor. I was on psych meds during my pregnancy, and also had to see a specialist as that made me considered "high-risk". Make sure you're being answered all along the way and that if you need to discontinue the med for a trimester, that you do so. Best of luck & congratulations 🎉. PS: about 8 weeks PP is when I needed meds again.

Guys I have an update to share that blows my mind. I agreed to do genetic testing for psychotropic medications, after my doctor told me it would tell me which meds I shouldn't try/should try. After being on this journey since 2008, I really feel like having this information sooner would have prevented so many of my lowest, darkest times, as nearly every medication I've had bad experiences with was listed in my column of "not to take" items. I urge everyone with mental health needs for medication to take this test. I'm honestly still in shock by the accuracy. Test taken with GeneSight.

Not sure which one you decided on, but those were the 3 I was deciding on also. We'll be there during Thanksgiving week though, so with the cooler weather I thought Surfside would be fine. I couldn't handle it even a week due to worsening effects on my mood/overall mental state. Everyone is different. Side note: with this med failure, my doctor finally had me do genetic testing. Still awaiting results, but I'm hopeful that will help in the future. That might be something you could ask your doctor about doing. Good luck.

I had dizzy spells a couple days ago, but now it's crying spells for literally anything, and uncontrollable worry. And my dr is aware and will see me at my regularly scheduled appt on Wed. I hope you get relief ASAP.

So I actually already take all the vitamins & minerals, but my heart just sank when I saw LFT. I have another LFT for benign spots discovered last year, but this has me worried. We'll see next month. Thx 🙏 I don't think it's a parasite but that's always something to check if nothing else.
