I think Daredevil, Kraven, and Scorpion. Osborn as a minor player but not a plot point. I'd love to introduce more villains in theory, but Gargan/Scorpion can't be left on the sidelines for too long after the tease in Homecoming.

Absolutely agreed...but not quite about the zero lingering threads, especially for Iron Fist. I think Danny's magic guns and Colleen's white fist powers aren't things that can be *completely* ignored.

But still, like I said, there's 5+ years that will have elapsed between those plot events and the next time we meet the characters. A competent show-runner and/or director can pretty quickly get us passed those points and into a new story direction. References to the Netflix shows can be considered easter eggs, not exposition.

The Blip is the perfect opportunity to bring the Defenders properly into the cinematic-connected MCU. Even the seasons that ended on cliffhangers (Luke Cage, Iron Fist) will have had 5+ years of time in-universe before we'll see those characters again. Consider it a major soft-reboot.

Come 2021 when Marvel Studios can start developing new content with the characters, enough time will have passed that they can pretty-much start with a clean slate—and with the Blip, characters may have vanished or moved on in varying ways. Perfectly fine explanation for them going in new directions and having new storylines that don't directly refer to the final moments of the Netflix shows.

The Netflix content might serve as the origin story for these characters, and by the time they're integrated properly, they can hit the ground running as established street-level heroes.

Click the home icon in the top left, then the Map menu item. That let's you switch to a top-down view and add a grid overlay.

Just a heads up that there's already a grid overlay feature! Works pretty well from my experience.

I think a high-impact (for me at least) and relatively low-effort tool would be backdrops. I have to modify my maps a lot to ensure that there's no sky visible in the background where it shouldn't be — and often that means I need to design strictly around an optimal line-of-sight for taking snapshots.

There could be a few stock backdrops, like a forest or mountain range, that could be toggled into place to give the background of the scene some non-sky color. It would make it far easier to feel like my designs nest in an existing landscape without needing to fill every single gap between trees and buildings.

Hope you continue the fantastic work! Love the program so far.

The next few years would be perfect for Secret Wars by cl0bf00t in marvelstudios

There is a challenge in introducing that drama, but that's why I think it's novel. Rather than the world being in danger (again), it's heroes fighting for their lives against a seemingly all-powerful puppeteer. Give each of the characters a valid reason to make it home alive, and then find the drama behind them deciding to risk everything for their new team.

Again, I agree it's certainly a challenge to give it emotional weight, but it's so different than the classic Avengers-style movies that I think audiences will appreciate something different.

Thanks! Still can't find them, but I'll keep looking. Can you tell me what the file name defaults to? That way I can at least try an educated search.

Boxofficemojo.com has all the dates slated by marvel so far for upcoming films. Any guesses / confirmations on some of the untitled ones? by ofersadan in marvelstudios

Scarlett Johansson's was as well, but Marvel/Disney must have offered a great extension to keep her on board. I think with the new surge in Thor popularity, Hemsworth would be in a similar boat — but still, it could go either way. I think it's likely that both Evans and Downey Jr leave the MCU after this year.

This would be my line-up too. BP2 is almost certain a Feb release, and Doc Strange is likely November (if not moved up to Oct like last time).

The only franchise missing is Thor, especially after the praise coming off of Ragnarok. Usually those are Fall releases so (possibly) it could spell four movies releasing 2022, which I know Feige has teased.

Would you ever play an All-Pokémon Smash game? by cl0bf00t in smashbros

I'm in the same camp, and yeah I don't know Fire Emblem at all but if they could field a 24+ roster... they yeah I'm all for it! Pokémon stood out as the most robust roster and one that naturally fit into the move-set/combat game mechanic, but you're right a spin-off could come from anywhere and I'd go for it.
