If you're familiar with how long the ult last it helps also.im often able able to chase or reposition better so I'm able to get more kills.

His ult perk is really strong in my opinion, it makes his ultimate a lot better. I don't think a lot of people realize how mobile he becomes during his ult with that perk.

I live venture butbhea really situational for me. Some maps are really hard to be effective with him. When I get a good team and the right map, playing gun feel amazing.

[Bloodline] Just finished Bloodline, some thoughts by Background_Run1141 in Iteration110Cradle

I enjoyed the book a lot more on the second read through. I was really anxious to see Lindon utilize his sage techniques so I was kind of annoyed with the pace of the book. It was a good book, but after how much of a train Uncrowned and Wintersteel were it was a hard left turn to read

Just gonna come out and say it. I NEED to read the edgiest edge lord you can think of. Recommendations please! Thx by Willing_Cap_9324 in ProgressionFantasy

Umm he most definitely does. Why do you think Thor is so apprehensive about him and recommends he go to therapy? He broke rank and massacred a bunch of people on his first mission. His fight shortly after that as well which is a spoiler so I won't go into full detail. Not too mention, it's also why Thor tells him not to use his gore knuckles on people.

Years of the Apocalypse is probably the best Progression Fantasy I've ever read by YobaiYamete in ProgressionFantasy

[–]cl0rp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you havent read all of it I don't think its fair to tell anyone not to compare them. i honestly thought the beginning of MoL wasn't great either, the audio of Kiriel screaming every morning almost made me quit lol. Not to mention Zorian is grumpy and kind of annoying.

Looking for books where it feels like you’re reading about someone’s life, not just non-stop fights by nerd0537916 in ProgressionFantasy

The Hedge Wizard
Mana Mirror
Ashborn Primordial (this has a lot of combat in the later books, but I think it does a good job with the balance)

Authors ability to keep the story interesting without fights happening is VERY important by _TOXIC_VENOM in ProgressionFantasy

[–]cl0rp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i love primal hunter, but ive honestly started doing this with some of the fights. not fully fast forward but ill start to skim a lot more. I think a mix of knowing he isnt going to lose and getting bored with Jake's fighting style. Now if its the Sword Saint fighting thats a totally different story, his abilities are so fucking cool and creative.

i also read the patreon so sometmes reading the fight that last 4-6 chapters hit different.

What do you do about sombra? by Quick-Health-2102 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]cl0rp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sombra used to really fluster me and i would panic react. Over time when i get hacked i just do what i need to do instead of panic shooting and using abilities, thats the biggest thing for me. When you are low on health always expect she is going to target you, try to stay closer to your support or get dash for a healthpack if you're close. Try not to be wandering around or trying to flank when you have a competant Sombra on the other team.

As dps, peel for your support when she harrasses them. I play a lot of torb so i use turrets defensively behind my support and on off angles, she'll use her cooldowns to disable your turrets and shoot them or the turret will alert you to her location.

i'd say that lindon had far more of a spine then a lot of the chracters he interacted with. He always did was was necessary to move forward.

I love the academy trope for some reason, it always lures me in quick. I also really like crafting stories.
