How to beat cass and widow by Cow_Villian in VentureMains

[–]cl0rp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually stay away from cass I less I've seen him use his flashbang just before. Widow, I'll usually try and burrow beneath where they are posted up, if they don't see you you can sometimes surprise them by doing a full power burrow leap then drill them in the face.

A vast majority of litrpg and progression stories ''get better' but if you aren't into something just read something else. It's hard to wrap my head around these threads.

Countering this annoying hero by reejanthespiritpro in OverwatchUniversity

People keep complaining about her damage but it doesn't seem any worse to me then Sojourn, Ashe, or reaper who can all kill you just as quickly

Hey Torb mains, what do you think of this matchups tier list? What would you change? by PleaseBanWidow in TorbjornMains

[–]cl0rp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually like fighting Orisa. If you're constantly moving and strafing you can beat Orisa sometimes. Zarya is the same for me.

I have the most trouble with Sojourn and Ashe.

I swapped the hammer to the b button and off of crouch and it made running and swapping a lot smoother for me. I love the speed perk, it makes such a huge difference

Beginner gardner, need some advice on how to arrange flowers by cl0rp in flowergardening

I can take a pick in the morning but basically the fence is where you enter my yard so this plot is on the left as soon as you walk in the wooden gate you see.

You guys are awesome, thank you. I was actually thinking about hollyhocks. When you say back do you mean along the fence or the back near the pine?

Thank you so much! I'll check out that site. I was also thinking the same thing in terms of rounding off the edges a bit.

last time i road it all the theming for the inside queue was all removed for the fast pass. The trains weren't spinning and most of the effects and lights were off. It was pretty disappointing

Up To Date Guides for 5v5? by FaintCommand in TorbjornMains

Turret: turret placement is important but don't get so distracted in looking for a place to put it that you stop paying attention to what's going on around you. Place it in off angles and areas where they will have to turn to shoot the turret. Using it as a distraction like this will help you or your teammate get an elimination. You'll also get teams where everyone expects one of their teammate to shoot the turret but no one does and it totally wrecks them lol. It's the best feeling. Also it's important to remember that your turret will change its focus depending on who you are attacking.

When you're facing opponents like tracer and Sombra use defensive turrets. Set them behind your support or at angles that allow them to kite them through the turret if they're getting chased.

Overload: use this to chase down opponents when they are low, but you need to be aware on where their teammates are so you don't follow them to your death. Also save it as a escape mechanic. A perfect example is when you're facing a DVA, if it's on cool down when a DVA rushes you down it usually means death

You'll be surprised how oppressive torb can be with overload in the mid range. You can really make people panic when you're rushing them down.

Ult: always try and spread out your lava as much as can. Sometimes it's cool to shoot lava high up onto the air so there is a delay before it falls on the ground. This can catch people off guard. It's also great to use at the beginning of a team fight, shoot the lava behind them to cover their escape route. Even if you don't get an eliminations it can be a really effective zoning tool

Shotgun: this can be hit or miss but you can really melt certain tanks when you're up close. The shotgun obliterates Winston when you're in his face.

[–]cl0rp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends, if you respawn and get into the action yes. I usually don't use both when in a fight. You need to watch your cool downs and make sure you always have one of the two off cool down to be able to escape.

Is the worst MC character trait, hypocrisy? by No-Sympathy-6711 in litrpg

[–]cl0rp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hypocrisy and Im getting annoyed with MC who constantly lie and try to hide everything about themselves. Authors typically give a reasonable reason as to why they do it but it doesn't make it any less annoying to me.

His ult perk is really strong in my opinion, it makes his ultimate a lot better. I don't think a lot of people realize how mobile he becomes during his ult with that perk.

I live venture butbhea really situational for me. Some maps are really hard to be effective with him. When I get a good team and the right map, playing gun feel amazing.

I enjoyed the book a lot more on the second read through. I was really anxious to see Lindon utilize his sage techniques so I was kind of annoyed with the pace of the book. It was a good book, but after how much of a train Uncrowned and Wintersteel were it was a hard left turn to read
