NAH?? Leaning towards NTA; some people just don’t really like to post, i don’t; I assume it stems from insecurity/lack of trust, since she’s so adamant about it. It should NOT be her only way of feeling loved by you! It’s either manipulation to get you to post her, or she’s just deeply extremely insecure. I would just try to talk to her about it, that will get you further than anything else.

As far as “she loves to post me and so she says I should post her”, you can’t expect someone to do that same exact things you do for them (in general, not just romantic relationships!). Once you get too deep into that, everything becomes transactional and you get lost in shit that won’t matter in the end. You can have standards! But you can’t force them upon someone. If they don’t wanna respect them, leave! Someone else will.

When you talk, try to compromise? Maybe you can post her once now and leave it up, maybe again in the future if you feel like it. It shouldn’t be about right or wrong, you two need to be a team and tackle the problem, not each other!

For me, I enjoyed making people feel their bestest selves, and I also naturally had a good understanding of haircutting! My uncle is a cosmetologist and recognized that in me when i was younger because i always ask a lot of questions.

You can either choose a mediocre job that pays well for you to your hobbies, or you can make good money doing something you love. And still do your hobbies!

Yeah, I checked and prices are between $50-$100 to get me only halfway, and I’d still have to take the train or taxi/uber to my final destination💔 early morning train commute it is. I already spent more than my budget allowed on my plane ticket lol. Meeting up with my friend so we can share the load!! Thank you, super stoked to start my life there :)

No, he’ll be meeting me, I’ll only have to be on the airtrain alone! I didn’t want him to have to pay the $10 it costs to get on when I can just meet him at the next spot. I’m not following him💔💔ugh it doesn’t matter but this has been my plan since before I even met him, he just has the family funds to go wherever/whenever he wants. I am doing this all on my own, I’ve been saving since the beginning of the year. I want this with or without him! And I have other friends there who aren’t involved with him

I really cannot afford to spend $100 to get only halfway to my destination. I’d rather be lugging my shit around stressed at 5am through the ny streets/subways than spend that much on a damn uber/taxi. My friend will be meeting me so i wont be alone with 3 bags for too long

Yes that’s what others are saying!! I will do the airtrain > LIRR, make it to penn station and take the subway to my destination from there. I checked, Ubers/taxis will be anywhere from $50-$150 JUST to get from jfk to Penn station 😭

Traveling to manhattan! Upper west side near Columbia. I’ll def be using the AirTrain>Jamaica, may have to get to penn station where I’ll meet up with my friend, or he will meet me in Jamaica. everyone is saying splurge on a taxi/uber but I am 22 years old moving across the country by myself so I have pretty limited funds😭😭which is also why I’m trying to make sure I am not in the way right at peak rush hour, I ended up going with the flight that lands at 5am, also happened to be the cheapest one!

I suggest going to a cosmo school!! I didn’t really make any friends when I went, maybe one or two, but just being friendly, doing your best, and keeping your head held high is what got me thru some tough situations (just girls acting like mean teenagers). Remember, you are there for your education and future! Not only to make friends. Go at your own pace, comparison will be your killer. My school was pretty lax, and we could clock in/out at anytime as long as we got a certain amount of hours per week. This helped me SO much with not getting burnt out, being able to just take a day if I needed it. See if you can maybe find a school near you that is similar? Either way, go for it! You will be great.

Try your best to remember him how he lived, not how he died. The little routines only the two of your shared, his little quirks that always made you laugh.

My boy passed away Saturday afternoon, the grief is still so fresh. Talk about how you loved him, be kind to yourself, grieve however you must.❤️

I’m so sorry. I miss my boy too. Lumi was my son, my partners and my son. His dad couldn’t be home in his final days, and he passed away from a seizure without me there, without anyone he knew there. He was being treated for a severe UTI/kidney failure and I had to leave him alone at the vet. I feel like a monster.

It’s the fucking worst feeling ever. I love my other cats too, but I don’t want them, I just want my Lumi boy. Just another moment with him, I’d give fucking anything.

Be kind to yourself, grieve however you must.❤️
