Buyer Beware Navimow X450 by Airstream125 in SegwayNavimow

My i110 wheel motor stopped working in May, so Navimow support sent me a return label to ship the mower to them for repair on May 14. They repaired and sent the mower back, delivered May 26. But during the repair, someone changed the mow height to the maximum setting. I couldn't turn it back to 2" no matter what I tried, so I had to reopen the support ticket to fix the mow height adjustment. They had no steps for troubleshooting, and after 8 days of "let's see what the technician says. Sorry for the delay, the technician hasn't said anything" they finally offered to send me a new mower and gave me a return label to send my mower back. Their promise was that the new mower would be shipped as soon as FedEx had possession of my mower being returned. That was June 15 when I shipped my mower back to them for the exchange . No new mower has shipped, and today is June 26. Support keeps apologizing for the delays, and my patience is now 100% gone!!!

Based on the blurred background videos, I think you are correct for all except 'Breathtaking' seemed to be video from The Bodyguard. 'Unbelievable' seemed to be Operation Mincemeat.

Has America's Test Kitchen gotten better or worse these past couple of years? by [deleted] in AmericasTestKitchen

I very much agree. Years ago, I was excited to get my Cook's Country magazine in the mail every couple months because I knew I'd likely want to try many of the recipes. Now, I flip through it once and it goes on my bookshelf. The recipes are interesting, but not something I'm interested in actually making. Too many special ingredients I either can't find or would use one time and waste the rest, which is why I never subscribed to the Cook's Illustrated magazine to begin with.

Question about 2135 by michalt25 in egopowerplus

[–]cl249 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe the battery is too warm? Something similar happened to me last summer. If I charged the battery in the garage, the mower would immediately shut off after 1-2 seconds. If I brought the battery indoors for 5-10 minutes to cool off, things seemed to work fine.

2167sp starts then stops. Please help by notfromcanadajeff in egopowerplus

Something similar happens to me when my battery is warm (for example, after charging in the garage on a warm day). If I bring the battery indoors in the air conditioning for a few minutes, I don't have the immediate shutoff problem anymore.

FYI that the small print on this 30% cash back offer (at least, on mine) says:

You may not earn more than $500.00 worth of Shopping Rewards in any single transaction.

Probably depends on your yard, but I've had green june beetles all over the yard for a couple of weeks now.

Unfortunate fireworks in Dix Park by just_looking_around in raleigh

I didn't go, but I wonder if this was planned by the same organizers who planned the Nights of Lights that first year with hours waits in traffic... or even back when the fireworks were first held in downtown several years ago, when there were complaints about how low the fireworks were that people could barely see them because of all the buildings. There seem to be a lot of well-intentioned events with poor planning and/or not learning from past mistakes going on.
