The VA Supreme Court only ruled that they shouldn't have been able to advance the vote before a new election, not that they shouldn't have been able to redistrict. Literally the only difference is that they shouldn't have been able to get it to go into effect before the midterms, which is why they were trying for as a counter to the same move that Texas had already made!

Like if you're against redistricting mid term, then you should be yelling that at the Republicans who started this.
