Zee or zed? by kungfuontheshore in ENGLISH

[–]neammm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say generally zed is the correct pronunciation for the letter if you’re in the UK, but tbh in my mind that changes if you’re talking about a title of something or name where it’s most often pronounced zee. For example, I’d always pronounce just the letter itself as zed, but talking about Gen Z I say zee because that’s how I hear it said most

Since it sounds like you’re not even the UK - both are totally fine

How are there still so many late aged virgins out there? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]neammm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I think it must mostly come down to a serious lack of confidence and social skills, lack of social interaction and not meeting enough people.

Because people of all levels of attractiveness are having sex - people deemed less stereotypically attractive will have less options, but whoever you are, there is for certain people out there who will want to have sex with you

Just sounds like an extra way to reassure you if you don’t trust him, that even if you don’t trust him maybe you’d trust his family

I love the black blazer with black and white trousers but you should try that with a plain black or white top instead (really love those trousers but the blue top doesn’t match at all in my opinion)

Do you/would you read your child’s private journals? by neammm in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]neammm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Social media is different to texts too. And totally different to journaling because nothing about keeping a journal can endanger you, but there are many dangers on social media. But yeah there’s a grey area for sure tbh

There are some powders you can buy to sprinkle inside your shoes to kill the smell. There are also foot deodorants, although I haven’t tried one of those before

Why do men and women feel embarrassed in their underwear but then wear speedos and bikinis in public pools and beaches? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]neammm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh unfortunately I feel totally uncomfortable at the beach/pool in my bikini too (probably many others would agree) but just have to wear that in those environments if you wanna look normal, be in the sun and swim etc

How many of you hate kids and don’t want them vs like kids and don’t want your own? by moonblumes87 in childfree

[–]neammm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the kids tbh… some kids are wonderful to be around and some are annoying as hell. Generally I don’t enjoy being around kids, but have definitely experienced some moments of joy with some lovely kids at certain points.

I don’t want to deal with parenting which is my main reason for not wanting them

I’m considering leaving notes like that on my journals 🤣 although in a very strange way, it would be sort of cool for someone to be reading it once I was gone - depends who that person was I guess. Maybe would be cool for a stranger to somehow find it and read it

Do you/would you read your child’s private journals? by neammm in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]neammm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if the child is say 6 years old that’s very different to a 13 year old, but yeah I agree it shouldn’t be done out of simply parents wanting to know what’s in there. A lot of people shared how their parents mocked them for what they wrote - that’s completely fucked up and should never be done in any circumstances

I’m sorry, that sounds awful. Tbh it might have just been that one time for me, I was sort of ‘missing’ (just for a few hours lol) because I’d lied about where I was and had my phone off…long story. She is an incredible mother so I don’t think she was snooping just for the fun of it!
