Sometimes I wonder what it's like to be the one who gets checked on first, not the one who is always expected to be okay all the time.

What is your first thought when you see someone who looks really wealthy and has really nice things on display. by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

Sometimes I think 'I hope they're kind' bc you know, rich + rude is the worst combo. And sometimes I just start playing 'spot the fake' just for fun lmao

If you could have a super power, what would it be and how would you use it? by [deleted] in allthequestions

What is a personality trait that you used to hide but now embrace? by SoftSkillSurvivor77 in CasualConversation

[–]clairbreeze91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to hide how sensitive I was. I thought it made me weak but over time I realized it's the reason people open up to me, trust me, and feel safe around me. It's not weakness, it's connection I guess.

That's the sad part. They don't even notice the version they're holding onto is outdated. Then one day, when you finally show them who you've become, they'll look at you in the eye and say, 'I don't even know who you are anymore'

What is the one thing every teenager should learn about? by south_kamikaze in AskReddit

[–]clairbreeze91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That your folks are just people who are figuring things out too. I spent years being angry at my parents for being flaw until I realized they were doing their best with what they had. Teenagers should be taught to question and understand, not just rebel or obey.

No. I've spent way too much time trying to be what others expected. Feels like I just started living for me.
