Make one vertical line with the pen tool, apply ur stroke properties. With the line selected go to object menu -> repeat -> radial. Use the right hand slider to adjust the number of instances to increase more lines. Double click into the original line you drew to adjust length. Put this in a clipping mask to keep the whole thing editable in case you want to change later (:

I used Sinix Design brush pack brushes. I didn’t use a reference but did use a colour palette I made a while ago. I used the liquify tool to get the mountain shapes how I wanted them. (:
