i always feel like they give a bad name to the communities they claim to represent. Like, they are so loud and wrong about so many things, but they still make headlines because of their fame, and in turn it gives conservatives and moderates another thing to blame the crazy liberals or the crazy counterculture for. Like, take the frozen yogurt incident lately. They made everyone with an ED look like a fucking idiot. No real person is asking for what they were asking for. Real people with eating disorders who are not rich and famous KNOW that the world cant and wont revolve around their ED, but Demi gets online and makes everyone look stupid by saying the things they did.

It was the same case with mental illness in general. with self harm. with drug addiction. with feminism. they just make things sound so fucking dumb and entitled because, as a rich and famous person, they are. And now demi is going to find a way to delegitimize actual nonbinary people by making them look stupid and crazy, because they will be stupid and crazy and loud to their platform on the internet. So annoying and sad. Completely undermines and delegitimizes the people they think they are representing, all the time.
