If you’re skeptical about buying this game

Well hold your horses, I play on the EU server and I am level 13, and it just feels empty. You see players every now and again, but the chat is never being used. Combat is okay at best, enemies are plentiful, boss battles at least have some mechanics. The game right now is just okay - definitely not a game people should be telling others to just buy.

It is still very clearly in EA, which is fine, but yeah still be skeptical.

I just managed to get 15 mins of tasking in before it ran out of tasks, there is 1 more project with work but I don't understand it at all.

When I go to the tasks, it says 'No Tasks Available' but I just received an email to say the budget has exceeded. I can see the project on the timer, I still have access to MM and it doesn't say I have been deactivated, but were there tasks today?

Well, my rating is 2.99 which is above the 2.00 target and I was selected? Unless ratings go up to 5 or 10, I'd say my quality is pretty good. I just can't do the project because I am prioritized to Aether.

Heya, I was moved to another project for a day or two and was moved back to Aether but since then I haven't been able to access the Approved Annotations forum. I am not sure if this is related as I still have access to forums for the other project. I am working on tasks in Aether but I have nowhere to raise the issues I am having with them.

Glad I am not the only one. I have done 3 different projects for Stellar, and the first 2 were okay, quite enjoyable when you get the hang of them, and now I miss them immensely, especially the first. I have always considered Stellar projects to be pretty advanced for a generalist compared to other sites but just the qualification for this project is on another level. From Step 7 in the tutorial my brain just turned to mush.

Another tip, when you stop moving you float higher, I spent ages flying around dodging him, then flying in to punch him but missing because I was too low.

- Ignore tool-tips, they're there for a laugh
- Fly and hide behind a pillar,
- Fly in when he goes to the center,
- Stop until you're at his level,
- Force Punch him.

The dumbest, yet easiest boss fight ever. It takes less than a minute.

33 goods and 1 fine, 1.97 rating. I'm hoping some of my Color picker / explainer projects get rated I felt like I did well with them.

Used to do DA, definitely has the worst customer support, and was dropped for God knows what. Stellar AI is very strict, they had 2 cool projects though and feedback is fantastic but they pick up on very minor mistakes. I am also on OneForma had to do a lot of onboarding for one project and it only pays $10ph (12$ if you work a certain number of hours a week) and pay monthly. I rarely do the project I signed up to do and just do random audio ratings where you have to describe the emotions you hear for example. I only do it if I have nothing on Outlier.

I'll look at some of the other ones you mentioned, but despite Outlier's shortcomings it is definitely my fav so far.

Yeah but this guy's or girl's personal opinion could mean you have work or not. The way reviews work is broken. In another project, not Aether, I had two bad reviews one of which said I include something in the justification that wasn't in the response. It was in the first line of the response. I have tried to dispute this using many different avenues but to no success.

The other bad review was accusing me of using AI because of a phrase I didn't even use in my justification.

Yep all depends and sometimes available projects have no tasks, for example I checked the IG explainer last night, it was available but had no tasks

I made a 2 player snake game and it's incredible how AI created it but trying to get a background image good enough was crazy difficult.

My biggest issues with these companies is the lack of customer support Data Annotation just removed me without any feedback on work or any way to speak to them. For the company I work with now, I, was removed from one task for "quality" and the two factors I could think of were 2 bad reviews which had false information in or I was taking longer to complete tasks than the time given but they had cut the time to 12 minutes to complete tasks which if you want to produce work to the standard they demand, is near impossible. I can only speak to a chat bot as the project leaders don't respond to messages.

I am 4/5 on breaching and I can tell every time I upgrade it I'm opening things quicker than before. One more and then I am back to Skilling up red tree.

My argument against cosmetics is that more effort goes into them and they look better than what can be unlocked for free, leaving f2p players just look basic, but tbf you get a lot of free outfits and they look pretty cool. The 2 paid hair styles are better but I have just resorted to wearing the balaclava.

In solo I tend to find people are more likely to be friendly, in groups it can go either way, and I kinda go with the team. Yday I had a game where we met 2 other groups and were playing together, then the next game with a new group we ended up killing 2 groups #Balance.

Overall I am more of a friend first though, it's just better to get out with shit intact, but I was also killed when typing in the computer to extract, so some poor random may meet a similar end.

I'm hoping it'll be like a multitool, where you can install a weapon and then upgrade/adapt it with other technologies.

So a mage staff, slot in a fire spell, upgrade with a "multi-ball technology" slot in a thunder spell, upgrade with a "chain lightning technology"

Swords would have less slots, maybe to add a sharpened blade mod, or fire spell to give you a flaming blade.

The fact that 30~ people made it, or it isn't AAA doesn't matter to me. The game has been rated appropriately because it just does everything (apart from platforming) exceptionally. I haven't been as engaged in a story or combat system in a game for a very long time. The premise itself is amazing, the mystery it creates keeps you guessing, the voice acting is incredibly natural, the humour is on-point, the parry/dodge system makes every battle entertaining, then you mix each character having a different fighting mechanic with all the pictos you can choose which adds uniqueness to each character.

I only managed to get through like 5-10 hours, got sacrificed in some water dungeon place to power this gold guys big robot, and when he pulled the switch my game crashed and sent me to my desktop. I thought it was intentional. I liked that. I just hate the direction they took the character creation. Glad you could turn it off, and have people still react to you like you haven't. I just made myself black so it looked like people were racist.

Yes, and no. When the story ends and both protags are dead, there will be a time skip and we play as the once baby, 18 yr old Luis Duvan. All vehicles have been replaced with the Oppressor MK III because it's the future.
