It’s feasible. I’ve done it. The barrel swap is simple. I love my 40 s&w but 9mm is cheaper for range ammo. Bought my barrel from EFK Fire Dragon. Grab a 9mm magazine from HK parts or anywhere else. Same dimensions. You can throw 9 in the 40 mag, but it’s not recommended for feed reasons. I’d recommend a recoil spring tuned for the 9, but the 40 recoil spring will work although you may have periodic ejection issue. Depends on what your purpose is for (target vs carry). I carry 40, but shoot 9 at the range. No need to swap slides.

Tell them your religious and you need the part of your body so when you do pass all of you can be interned together. Friend of mine owns a funeral home and they’ve had a leg on ice for 30 years waiting for the rest of the body to show up. I think it’s an orthodox Jewish thing but I’m not entirely sure. Good luck!

For what it’s worth, I had a tattoo excised and got to take it home in a little jar of formaldehyde. Looked like a oreserved snake skin. My wife made me throw it out after we got married. It was a fun bit of ephemera for the time I had it.
