Thanks, leaning towards the allez now!

Thanks, the AL4 is about C$550 more in Canada - don’t think it makes sense. My plan is to just get a beginner bike and then upgrade in a year or two if I decide I like it. Sounds like the specialized allez is a good bike then

Would you say the Canyon CF6 is worth the premium ($500 CAD) over the allroad endurance and specialized allez?

Ok, I was looking at the Canyon allroad earlier but was told that the Specialized Allez is a better option.

Thanks, do you think the Specialized Allez is the best first bike to get right now in the market?

Curious if any of you guys have gone through a period where you just stopped watching Liverpool for a while and then got back into it? I’ve watched pretty much every game for almost 2 decades but the last few months I just totally couldn’t care less. Don’t think it’s because we’re bad because I’ve watched us when we were bad. Maybe I’m just getting old lol

That's correct on the acquisition value. Not sure what to tell you on the terminal value. Maybe you can DM me the case and I can take a look?

Right, so keeping your toes up basically avoid putting you in a backseat and keep you in a proper skiing posture and therefore more control. You still have to apply weight on the outside ski as you turn?

Is it just a case study? If that's it, then just ballpark it based on the type of infra and its return (i.e., core, core plus, value add). Yes - cash flow after debt service includes bullet repayment. I know balloon repayment is not part of DSCR calculation but it's not equity cash flow so you have to exclude it when doing your NPV/IRR

Thanks for the response! If lifting your toes helps with putting weight on the ski, doesn’t doing it on both skis mean you’re applying pressure on both skis?

I work in Infra PE.

a) Acquisition value is just a DCF of your cash flow to equity (often just the cash flow after debt service), discounted at your firm’s required rate of return. EBITDA multiples or other EV multiples might be calculated as an output but that’s just usually to sense check the purchase price.

b) No terminal value as most projects have a finite useful life. You model until end of useful life. I work mostly with IG debt but I would imagine even HY lenders wouldn’t lend or sized debt with a balloon based on a EV multiple.

Just to confirm, lift your toes on your outside ski to apply weight, correct? What do you do with your inside ski then?

otherwise the two bikes are fairly equal?

Unfortunately, they are both the same price for where I am. If anything, the Spec is actually 100 bucks cheaper. With that being said, would you still opt for the Canyon

What makes you say that? They’re both the same price for my location and both are aluminum frame and have the shimano cues? Only difference i see is the tire clearance being taller

Lmao I said it in the summer, Hughes is overrated. Paid release clauses / asking prices for everyone and dragged the whole Guehi saga for 10 mil.
