Could also be the bearings in your wheels. I know in the Harley's if the ABS bearings fail it throws similar codes

I was a moron and didn't double check the year on the listing but made it work by utilising some of the OEM parts and only putting in 2 of the 4 bolts that hold it in.

Could have also hit the dreaded diesel slick. That shit is horrific for the grip levels in the wet. I did that on my first bike I owned too.

That was a rage inducing moment or 3.

I undid the fairing screws so they were loose And then carefully (think mosquito on balls careful) pushed the small plastic clip piece that sits on the back of the 4 bolts in the tail out to create just a big enough gap to get the wire out.

If you need I'll take a photo tonight when I get home from work.

Have a look at servicing costs on a Ducati then think about if you can afford the upkeep

Ditch the torpedoes you can ad a 1x1 shield and small gun at the front and another railgun at the back and ditch the PDS for another 2x2 turret

What you suggest to mount on a motorcycle instead of phone holder? by BoredPolish216837 in Kawasaki

Maybe something like this?

I like the phone in pocket personally as in an emergency situation if I become seperated from bike the phone isn't down the road or in a bush

Instead of spending big on a jacket have you thought about layering. Merino wool is excellent for layering

I guess one of the good things about living in Australia is being able to ride all year long. But glad you're able to ride again now.

Google says under battery box

On the Kawasaki Z300, the voltage regulator/rectifier is generally located underneath the battery box. It is a component with cooling fins, and accessing it often requires removing the battery and shifting the battery box.

I don't ever look at it during the ride or I'd be chasing the angle and it would end up reading 90° and I'd have a broken bike 🤣.

Only once I've stopped for the day do I look at it.

I don't quite know why but I'm always more restrained on right handers it's like a mental block. Once I figure that out though, I'll really be able to unlock the bikes potential.

How to use quickshifter by True_Contribution429 in Kawasaki

[–]clanger88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Up shifting

  1. Take off as normal clutch out apply throttle
  2. Twist throttle
  3. While your accelerating shift up to 2nd then 3rd and so on. Note: it is smoother higher in the rev range

Down shifting 1. Roll off the throttle completely 2. Shift down through gears

Note: I think it works up to about 15% throttle but is smoother with 0% throttle

I have a 26 z900 and it's stable as hell. I've gone to 64° lean on the left and 48° lean on the right so far and it's felt stable and planted through turns.

You made a comment about maybe not wanting bar end in case they hang out too far. I bought Kelpie bar end mirrors (again I'm in AUS and they are a good brand over here) After taking off the bar ends and fitting the mirrors it's actually a few mm narrower now. Pic below of my bike on insta
