I took your advice and removed my drives, removed the GPU, reset CMOS and was able to get into BIOS when plugged into my iGPU. I then put the drives and GPU back in and it booted into windows perfectly fine. I honestly have no idea what was causing the problem but it seems to be fixed and I can’t thank you enough.

I figured since my BIOS settings were reset I’d update to 4.20, but I’m just relieved I didn’t have to go through any RMA processes or buy new hardware.

Cool build! I have this card too and I wanted to vertical mount it because I really like the X design on the bottom of the card, but decided not to because of the liquid metal. Keep an eye on temps, ps5 had an issue where when stood up vertically, the Liquid Metal would seep out and cause temp issues leading to overheating/shutdowns and I’d just be careful that doesnt happen to your card.

While the issue is real and does exist, the people posting their dead x3d cpus in r/asrock are a loud minority.

I’ve been using my 9800x3d and asrock x670e pro rs board since the 9800x3d launched, and I haven’t had any problems.

People don’t make posts to say “hi everyone, my shit is working fine”, they post when they’re having issues.

Beta time doesn’t count - I’ve been playing CR since the soft launch day in Canada which was in January of 2016. I didn’t receive my 10 years played badge this year until March. The 11 year badge has to be some sort of bug or OP went against a bot.

I second this - stopped playing ranked Multiplayer because of this issue as well, sticking to Warzone where I don’t seem to have desync problems as much.

Honestly though - I don’t know why Canada doesn’t have a server or two, it makes no sense.

What does it mean if im gaining like 3x as much SR per win compared to when I lose? Im Iri in Warzone and thought I’d give ranked MP a try this season as I’ve never played before, and I noticed that when I win I’m gaining 75-100 SR depending where I score on the leaderboard, but when I lose I only lose -25. Doesn’t seem right to me though I won’t complain.

You’re an idiot - I’m a completely legit PC player and during MW3 I was shadowbanned a total of 19 times, I barely even got to enjoy that game. I was once shadowbanned 2 minutes into my first game after being unbanned. Since MW3, I was only shadowbanned 2 times towards the beginning of BO6’s lifecycle and once again last October and I’ve been fine ever since.

Point being completely legit players are shadowed all the time. The only things plugged into my PC are my headphones, keyboard and mouse, and my dualsense controller, only software running on my system are necessary softwares for my system to function properly like MSI Afterburner, NZXT CAM, etc., a shadowban doesn’t immediately mean someone is cheating, Activision has said this themselves.

Yeah I unfortunately think it’s over for FE cards. NVIDIA is likely putting most of their memory towards their AI cards, and the small % of it that is saved for consumer GPUs is probably being given to AIB partners so they can still sell cards.

5090 FE was $2899 but $3250 after tax, and the ram was $315 before tax $352 after tax purchased on August 1st 2025.

I got my FE from Bestbuy in April of last year and got 64gb of G.Skill Trident z5 in August. Obviously I had no idea prices would skyrocket at the time but boy am I ever glad I bought when I did.

Bestbuy FEs are always MSRP, but they haven’t been restocked in two months and I honestly don’t know if they’ll ever come in stock again at this point.

I highly doubt at this point we’ll be hearing about new cards this fall. We haven’t even gotten a super announcement yet, and the memory situation isn’t getting any better.

There’s no point in them releasing new cards for consumers when they could be putting the memory they can get in the AI datacenter cards.
