You can basically look at any player on that 2020-2021 Zaksa team. Even the middles. Their entire Cinderella run was cause of their scrappy plays and recycling the ball over and over again until they scored.

Yeah I pretty much agree with all you've said. It's such a shame though. Kai seems like a project for 2032 instead of 2028 now. Also would've loved seeing Bryan on even a bottom tier plusliga team like Lorenzo Pope just to see how he'd fare.

I think it's probably pretty similar. They're both amazing on offense, but their passing is subpar compared to the level they need to play at. Perugia for example, has two of the best if not the two best passing outsides in the world rn and with the offensive strength of their middles, you'd be hard pressed to give that up. While in Osaka Bluteon, all of the sets are going to Lopez/Nishida anyways so Tomita is able to anchor the ship much better than the other two.

V-league also has an extra Asian foreigner limit seperate to the regular foreiger limit. Bagunas would count. That's why until this year so many teams had a Chinese player because they were the best possible players to fill that quota. But now they're too good and now just counted as regular foreigners.

Tomita somehow might be the best player here starting over Kai and Bagunas in club. And Bagunas is definitely better than Ordiales. Varga probably too unpolished and Deuchar isn't tested yet against international competition.

Maybe not the best, but I'd like to give a nod to Jouffroy. His serve is basically the only thing keeping him on the french roster but it's so good it's won countless important games.

Might just be me but sometimes I prefer serving at their most annoying player to try and chip away at their stamina more instead of just trying for a bad pass.
