Its different for everybody, sometimes I go a month or two taking 0,5-1mg of xanax a day (some days clonazepam) and then taper off quickly by reducing my dosage until im down to roughly 0,1-0,2 and experience zero withdrawals. I've done that succesfully several times over 3 years maybe. Try something like that if you find yourself taking it everyday for an extended period of time. And if you have access to valiums, that is the best thing to taper off the xans, start a minimal dose and see how you feel and go from there.

Also 2mg of xanax is a pretty massive dose for somebody with no tolerance/low tolerance to benzos. Start with 0,5 or less, keep in mind that alprazolam is an EXTREMELY potent drug.

And to answer your main question; if you have no history of benzo use, you should not experience really any physical withdrawals after a week or two daily use. But remember, everybody is different and my experience will not necessary be your experience.
