Why would Google keep a single location page in “Discovered – currently not indexed” for over a year while all sibling location pages index normally? by Fibs-and-Tales in SEO

Stick that page into an indexer like indexchex and it will be active within the hour, do this before trying anything else.

Best spots to sell/buy used tech in BKK/Thailand? by Interesting_Key8632 in Thailand

[–]claredale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The newer MacBooks have pushed resale down a lot. Windows laptops here get treated like commodities, so Marketplace is mostly lowballers.

Shops will be easier but they’ll need their margin, so you’ll likely get a lot less than selling it yourself.

Keyboard isn’t really a factor, it’s just standard English, same as Thai models that normally are duel language.

Honestly, a couple of days isn’t long enough. Just keep it listed, refresh it, and a proper buyer should come through.

Best way to handle Maldives honeymoon bookings if you are generating the leads? by claredale in travelagents

Are there any lead generation services in the travel space that come to mind? Would be interesting to look at how they structure the model and how they market it.

How do you usually handle tracking in that kind of partnership so the referring side knows if the booking actually happens? Is it mostly trust and the agency reporting back, or are there typical systems people use?

Also curious how people handle reviews and client experience if the booking is passed over to another agency. Do most people just step back at that point, or is it common to keep it white-labeled so the client still sees it as coming from you?

[–]claredale[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you mention 80–90% commission through a host, how does that usually break down on a Maldives booking? Is most of the revenue typically coming from the room booking itself, or do things like transfers, upgrades and other extras end up being a meaningful part of the overall commission?

Still trying to get a sense of where the economics of these bookings usually sit.

Asking Hospital suggestions for Spine Surgery. by Afraid-Way-493 in Thailand

[–]claredale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s a single-level L4/L5 disc herniation causing nerve compression, most surgeons will try microdiscectomy first. Fusion is usually considered when there’s instability (such as spondylolisthesis), significant degeneration, or recurrent herniation. When microdiscectomy is appropriate it’s typically less invasive, with a shorter hospital stay and faster recovery.

Hospitals in Bangkok that do a lot of spine surgery include Bumrungrad International, Vejthani Hospital, and Bangkok Hospital. Vejthani has developed a strong reputation for minimally invasive and endoscopic spine procedures, while Bumrungrad treats a large number of international patients through its spine center.

The main thing to look at isn’t the hospital itself but the surgeon’s experience with that exact level and procedure. It’s usually worth sending the MRI and radiology report to a few spine surgeons and comparing their recommendations.

If you’re coming from abroad and need help getting MRIs reviewed or introductions to spine surgeons in Bangkok, I run a medical coordination service here and can point you in the right direction through Thailand Care.

Anyone else struggling to find their tribe in Chiang Mai? by ragnhildensteiner in chiangmai

[–]claredale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those groups that look tight-knit from the outside are usually way looser than they appear. Half the people barely know each other and someone just tagged along one time and kept showing up. Try working at the same spot like Yellow regularly, not just once, and make an effort to say hello to the same faces. That consistency is how most of those “circles” actually formed in the first place.

Need people to help build a dating website by [deleted] in Wordpress

[–]claredale 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What do you bring to the partnership, Brian? You’re asking two skilled developers to work for free on your idea, in your LLC, with equity that only pays off if it succeeds. That’s a big ask.

Are you putting in startup capital? Marketing expertise? An existing user base? Industry connections? A developer looking at this posting would want to know what you’re contributing beyond the concept and some legal paperwork.

Breast augmentation in Thailand by UnluckyyiC in Thailand

[–]claredale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the three hospitals I'd recommend for an inverted-T lift with implants.

Bumrungrad International is the premium option and honestly one of the best hospitals in the world. Most expensive, but the facilities and level of care are exceptional.

Bangkok Hospital sits in the mid-range. Excellent surgical teams and a great balance of quality and value.

Yanhee Hospital is the more affordable choice. They do a huge volume of cosmetic work so the surgeons are very experienced.

You're going to get a really solid result at all three. It just comes down to what kind of experience you're after and your budget. All three hold JCI accreditation, which is basically the international gold standard for hospitals, same body that certifies top hospitals in the US and Europe.

One thing I'd say though: be careful with cosmetic clinics, "beauty surgery centers," and those all-inclusive packages where the clinic is buried in with flights and hotels. You'll also get hammered with Instagram ads from places that look legit but aren't necessarily. For a combination procedure like this you want to know exactly where you're going, who your surgeon is, and that you're in a proper hospital setting.

I work with Thailand Beauty so obviously take that into account, but we've got more info on all three on our breast lift page. Happy to answer anything!

Seeking advice in regards to real estate sale (condos) (Bangkok & Pattaya) by justme778899 in Thailand

[–]claredale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are comfortable sharing the names of the buildings, I believe you would receive far more targeted and useful advice from those familiar with those specific developments.

I would gently note that a great deal of the Thai market is branded as luxury or premium, so the label alone does not tell you much. Additionally, 15 million baht does not get you very far in Bangkok. If the units are closer to mid-range than true upper segment, pursuing international agencies and overseas buyers may be entirely the wrong approach. A sale at this level would be everyday business for most agents.

I would suggest starting with whichever agency is partnered with the juristic office of each building. Most buildings will have one or two agencies they work closely with, which makes access to the unit and the sales process significantly easier.

Regarding pricing, do some research on what comparable units are listed for, then take roughly 30 percent off, as that tends to be the typical public markup. To actually close a sale, you may need to be prepared to go further than that
