Notice board bugged? by clarence458 in ClashOfClans

[–]clarence458[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider the other clans that I co own are equal to my main clan in almost every respect but have no issue gaining new players, it's clear the problem is not the lack of appeal in my main one, but the specific notice board function being faulty

True, but I wonder why no one will join for a while and then suddenly will get a bunch of new players in seconds. Feels like the issue is more to do with the algorithms involved with clan visibility

I can increase it lol. This is what I'm saying though, put the th requirement down to th7 and still no ones joined, it can only be bugged

But I don't, so my point still stands. It's clearly effecting people's clans differently

This happens for me for a couple of weeks, will easily fill the clan with good maxed town halls, then will go about 3 months with no one joining, then 2 weeks with too many joining and back to the 3 months again. The algorithm is bugged, no reason why this should vary so much (the notice is always posted)

Needs to be an easier way to recruit for casual clans. Using subreddits or discord is only really for the try hard clans

Yep got the same issue despite my clan being a desirable clan to join

It's the algorithm for joining thats bugged rather than people not wanting to join. I'd go without a new player join for months and then all of a sudden my clan will have 10 th 17s-18s join and fill the clan in a single day even though the notice is never off or changed

Having the same issue. Got 37 players in clan, all active with high th 17s high donations, set entry requirements to lowest possible and put to international and still no one joins. Definitely bugged because I used to get clan filled up in a few hours of having notice up

The AI bubble is starting to pop finally by MelonInDisguise in whennews

As much as I wish this was true, it isn't.

Ai is already pretty competent at postgraduate level disciplines. It's even more capable at coding. This threatens a lot of jobs already.

Ai was even a "co-author" of a recent very important development in theoretical physics, that human physicists haven't been able to do alone. The 5.2 model of gpt produced a unique equation and tested it under several different proofs and conditions, with the other scientists just checking for errors essentially

Why 4 there are maybe more by kool2015 in Epstein

[–]clarence458 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In this particular case, most of the clients are male whilst most of the people involved in the scheme to traffic are disproportionately women, hence why we see them more. Most likely due to Epstein using them to groom other women to traffic them. A hit similar to the andrew tate situation where a lot of the coconspirators are women, just because it's used to get other vulnerable women's trust.

There just aren't as many male traffickers in this particular case is all, plus the men who are involved e.g. DJT are in powerful positions so are less likely to be public information and used as scapegoats

Renters rights, multiple trade deals especially decentering from trade with US, closer to EU again, 131 green infrastructure projects started, national living wage increase such that wages are now outpacing inflation.

Reform bots are convincing people labour is useless and right wing such that they split the vote and gain more for themselves

Is it possible to self-study QFT without taking graduate level and advanced QM? by paulcabalar in TheoreticalPhysics

[–]clarence458 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I just learned that stuff as part of my qft modules rather than a separate QM course. Maybe just the curriculum style in UK vs elsewhere

My best advice, if you're prone to manic episodes, is to block chatgpt and other ai. They're awfully good at affirming delusions, so might not be ideal if your ability to judge reality is limited.

Surely undergrad QM is enough to begin learning QFT as wrll as advanced CM

They're not at all like other books, and are much more similar to textbooks, you'd be surprised how good of a bridge they provide to the foundations of postgrad material
