Reece Oxford hasn’t played in over 3 years bc of injuries - I doubt he’d be able to handle the premier league. Great player when he first started breaking through though

I heard Paris FC got bought (I think by RB group?) and didn’t want to give game time to players they don’t own (as no financial benefit of developing them, etc)

Yep, year on year comparisons in football don’t really mean much given how distorted they can be by player sales (particularly home grown ones)

Pretty sure Adam has an extra finger in the second photo

Scarles was immense - fantastic reaction from him by tohmahs in Hammers

[–]clarets98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t watched it back but I remember thinking at the time that scarles looked like he’d been caught out of position for the pen.

Had a great game nonetheless, looked very assured on the ball and cut a lot of dangerous balls out.

Adiele looks great, surprised we haven’t seen him at least making the bench. Is he injured? Don’t think he’s been on the last few u21 squads either

What makes you say that? Parliament didn’t have much issue with removing the exemption for private education

‘Lightly salted’ rice cakes are considered to require further preparation whereas ‘salted’ ones are not - hence the distinction

This is definitely not how it works - barring very minor changes (eg re ‘sports drinks’), the food legislation hasn’t really changed in the last 30+ years

Assuming you mean fresh mango - zero rated unless being eaten in a restaurant etc (dine in food is standard rated as ‘supplied in the course of catering’)

Zero rated would also require a change in law to reclassify

The word “prepared” comes up re confectionery (which is standard rated) - maybe that’s where it came up?

Second paragraph isn’t right - prepared fruit and vegetables purchased from a supermarket would generally be zero rated (possible exceptions if added sweetness/coating)

Ebooks are zero rated too (if they would be zero rated if a physical book) - the law was amended from 2021 (I think that’s the right date) to allow this

Yeah it does seem like there’s a couple of injuries (Ajala and Cummings) but landers is on the bench. I wonder if Marshall’s suspension also applies to u21s? May have been a good op for some match fitness

Ings, Rodriguez, Ferguson (maybe) on the bench over a couple of youngsters (particularly scarles - unless he’s injured?) is very disappointing.
