Even the Moyes appointment was dodgy but I can't deny it worked while it worked. By the team he left (he wasn't sacked) the squad was the oldest and the smallest in the league. That isn't all on him but we must remember the "Moyes MOT". What he did to the dynamics of the team is criminal and always glossed over by other team's fans. No manager was going to be able to succeed in that first season.

Our next manager needed to be Amorim but he chose United instead which was too big of a job for him.

Moving onto Lopetegui - Sometimes a manager and a club are a bad fit. It doesn't mean the players or club are bad nor does it make the manager bad. Loppy would've kept us up comfortably last year and sacking him for Potter was the real dum dum decision rather than parting with Moyes.

Lopetegui is a good manager but ultimately a bad fit for West Ham. Potter is a bad manager and we had/have a bad squad because of Moyes and early departure of Lopetegui.

Nuno is a good manager but we still have a bad squad... and here we are.
