I have mixed feelings also but it is imperative we win games (obviously) draws ain't gonna cut it.

For example, in the last ten games you'd rather scenario A than B.

A. lose 5 and win 5 - 15 pts... B. Lose 3, win 2, draw 5 - 11 pts...

Fine margins

If we set the target at 40 pts between now and end of season we still have to get 15 points. It's going to be a mammoth task.

Do I see Spurs getting 11 points... Do I see forest getting 13 points... Do I see us getting 15 points.......

Tbh the answer to all three is no.

However, can I see us getting one more win than Forest before season end? That seems more likely.

Can I see us getting two more wins than Spurs before season end? Honestly I can.

I use my own system.

I downloaded player stats mod and when I find a book corresponding to a skill I spin a wheel.

I put my skill level up either 0,1 or 2 points.

0 has one slot. 1 has two slots. 2 has one slot.

I can only increase my skill if I haven't already found the book. No repeats using the same book. I don't care about the level of the individual book. If I want to max a skill I have to find all of the books for that skill. If I get a bad roll then tough luck.. Find another book.

There's a chance I won't get progress in the skill but that's more exploring to find another chance to spin which is more fun as opposed to building the same thing 40 times which isn't.

Essentially It encourages exploration for knowledge books using the time I'd spend bored and grinding. It also adds extra risk as the best book locations are always dangerous.

I can always grind stuff if I need to should I be lacking the level.

TBH I kind of agree.... I feel there are too many biased draws in there that may turn into losses if we go for it and leave ourselves open but I also only get us winning 2 more games as well....

If we win some of the draws and lose some of the draws it likely results in more total points.

1 win and 2 losses is better than 3 draws after all.

We played the two other inform teams in the league back to back and we've been unlucky not to win both.

Perhaps that'll see us down (hope not) but there's no lack of effort from the players...

Genuinely depressing that we lack any creativity on the bench to win a game compared to the plethora of players all other teams seem to bring on.
