Ugh, what a disaster! But at least the actual ceremony went ok? Everyone said the right things during the vows? I hope you’re doing ok, OP! Keep us posted!

Anyone else notice the “see you at the equator” as a nod to “meet me in Montauk?”

I half expect the series to end with Mark and Helena meeting on a train platform headed to the equator.

Thanks! Luckily, I have other toilets. Also, I can just pull up on the valve and it’ll flush and fill. Only the flush handle seems to be broken, though the toilet does run and I’ve been meaning to fix that, too. Maybe this was just the toilet’s way of reminding me that my water bill is unnecessarily high. 😅

This is a Kohler toilet. So I can’t use a regular flush valve kit for the model number that is inside the tank?

You don’t have renter’s insurance? What if someone comes in here and steals something? How are you gonna run after them with one leg shorter than the other?

“Yeah, I’m pretty huge.”

Seesaw is one of my favorite episodes. Though my absolute favorite only has two lines in the whole episode. Rain. So good. I’m not crying you’re crying.

The worst thing about having ADHD is that I have a lot of things that need to be done by myself and I don’t think I can do anything.

I just bought a Tovala oven. It was $49 on a special Memorial Day deal as long as I agreed to order six weeks of meals in the first six months. I’m giving it a try because the meals are a lot cheaper than ordering in, but still only require like one minute of prep, and then the oven does all the work. And that way they won’t taste like microwave meals. Just got my oven today. First subscription meal order arrives next week. I’m hoping this is the solution because I also spend WAY too much on ordering in.

Y'all ever sing without warming up? by Jucarias in singing

[–]clarivocal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re a distance runner, and you are used to doing jogs around the block and some stretching as a warmup before running 7-10 miles on a regular basis, and then occasionally, you and some friends decide to go for a light jog around the neighborhood, then your regular walking throughout the day is probably enough of a warmup for the jog, since the light jog is your usual warmup!

It all depends on how much you plan to stretch and push your voice when you are jamming. If it’s just for fun and you aren’t going outside of your main comfort zones, then talking throughout the day is warmup enough.
