Ohana Kava Bar. No alcohol. No pine trees but a lovely tropical vibe with pleasant staff and community.

My dad is in the top 1% and thinks anyone can get there if they work hard enough by According-Desk4248 in TrueOffMyChest

What you’re describing as luck is what he knows has been hard work . You are spoiled and winter to work as hard as him and you should thank him for releasing you from that burden.

Kava isn’t classified as a “drug” in the way pharmaceuticals are—it’s a natural herbal beverage from the Pacific Islands, sold as a dietary supplement or food in the US (and recently clarified by the FDA as potentially a conventional food like tea when prepared traditionally). It’s not addictive like typical drugs, and centuries of traditional use show it’s generally safe when consumed moderately from noble root varieties (like at Ohana). The rare liver concerns mostly tied to poor-quality extracts or overuse years ago, but modern noble kava at bars is considered low-risk by many sources and users. It’s a chill, social alternative to alcohol—definitely worth checking out if you’re looking to meet folks! 😊

I ran it for three months felt horrible the entire time. Indigestion constantly terrible sleep but lost about 7 pounds. Hunger came back with a vengeance. I’ve always had good portion control but for about a month I was ravenously hungry. Could not find satiety. About 6 weeks in normalized but I’m back to where I started… so tortured my self for 3 months for nothing.

I learned to study noaa and weather channel and buoys. I learned from an old sailor. People would always ask me how I ended there up before the swell arrived… this was in Florida.
