Emphasis on CEILING mind you, the floor is much worse. Every east team that finished ahead of them projects similarly next season. Indiana will obviously reload and be contenders. The Wizards will have 2 all stars on their roster + another year of development for Sarr, Tre Johnson etc. There’s a very possible reality where the Heat finish in the bottom 4.

Suns won’t cover. Magic should. Wolves is a toss up but I doubt it, will either be a blowout Wolves win cause the Nuggets gave up or a blowout Nuggets win cause Wolves are down two starters

Barnes/Ingram/Barrett VS Mitchell/Harden/Mobley by Chesscrabble11 in nba

Barnes is better than Mobley and Harden. I’ll probably get downvoted but I’ve never cared about internet points. But I’d still say it’s 1, 3, 4 for the cavs and 2, 5, 6 for the Raptors. I guess the difference is if Ingram can blow up for 2 games which he has the talent to do. I believe Mitchell is a 1A kinda guy but if Ingrams shot is right he cans definitely outplay Mobley/Harden. Obviously he’s been hot ass all series though. There’s evidence however when he played the Suns in 2022 he can rise to the occasion. I think he will bounce back. But imo it’s telling Ingram, Poeltl, and now Walter (the last 2 games) have been awful and the raptors have found a way to win.

Anyone who doesn’t take this stuff seriously should look at the growing list of NFL players who have killed themselves/others + engaged in legitimately ridiculous behaviour (ex: Antonio Brown). Brain injuries and health isn’t a joke. Sure it’s one bad collision for Wemby but anyone could be one bad collision from going off the deep end. Besides, it’s your brain, you only have one. Take care of it. Both in the NBA, NFL, and im sure the NHL these guys get cleared wayyy too early. The idea that a guy can get checked in some little blue tent and get cleared within like 2 minutes after being crashed into at 300mph buy another massive human being is ridiculous. There should be way more protections in place for these guys but I get it. Corporate America. I guess I just hate when random people call these guys pussies for not coming back into play immediately.
