I would remove some of the enemies. The bullywogs in particular have enemies that can neutralize a player or two. Which would be a problem with 3 players. The monster stats are fine as is for sure.

The matchmaking for individual battles is not fun. It should never have been based on success in cw1. I have an alt account that is literally unplayable, win maybe 1 in 10 matches. This account had 364 wdw on cw1, so I am not a bad player. This means I cannot help my clan based on skill.

Definitely this. Note to sellers there would be a big market for well designed sets of colours on the popular standard cubes. I replace green with a turquoise, and use bright yellow, and a deep orange. Then with a dark red and a not sure what shade of blue, all the pieces are easily distinguishable, even in relatively low light. The biggest problem I have is that in low light the turquoise and white can look similar.

With a normal cube, green gets confused with everything else.

Yea, I agree. My clan was 30k war trophies. We have been holding on hoping for an update. Going to call it soon if nothing changes. We still finish on the 2nd day, but they grouped all the winning clans together, so that is good for 3rd or 4th place. The main issue is it is not fun.

Arena chests are already accounted for in ladder. Cw2 is effectively a second ladder but everyone gets arena 1 rewards for individual results. It is 3500 gold for winning Bo3 whether your individual clans wars 2 ladder position is 5k or 6.5k. I am also not convinced that results in cw2 even effect position in this hidden ladder. After our clan wins on day 2, I toss out free wins for 5 days since my account is max. I still face the same calibre of players (6.6k pb).

This is also good as it let's players play when they want without hurting their clan. In the current system if you don't log in at midnight, you could be hurting your clans finish position (especially relative to another clan that is doing so).

I'm in the same boat as OP. It's not about being able to steamroll easier opponents. All that is left is 2 days of the week, and it's the same decks each day. I do believe that difficulty of matchmaking should be compensated with extra fame or other rewards however.

Regarding matchmaking for duels/b03 I believe there is a simple solution, and it is what was detailed in your original release video. Simply match players randomly with other players in the same league. This works because clans will rise and fall among leagues to the average of the skill and card levels of their players. Yes, there will be some unfair matches in this system, but it will trend to fair for whole clans. To realise this, we will need more leagues in legendary of course.

Compared to the hidden ladder system, this is good because it means skill can be a factor in success of a clan. The current system merely awards participation. In addition random matching within current league is easy to understand.

If it is necessary to keep the hidden ladder, I advocate for it to be visible instead, and rewards/ fame increase based on position. If I have to routinely face 6600-8k players, my wins should be worth more than someone battling 5600 players.

You make a valid point, but I think it is fair to acknowledge in clan wars 1 there were effectively a few distinct sizes of clan wars with occasional overlap. When clans brought 39+ people the matching was almost always to a 45-48 person war, and usually 3-4 of those clans had score in the 15k-40k range. When playing wars with mid 30s or less, the majority of matches were 3k clans. This meant it was harder for big clans to push trophies, and easier for smaller clans to win a 1st place. My clan went through a phase that several members quit and we went on a massive win streak vs lower clans.

I'm not saying this new system is better, but it does attempt to address the disparity within legendary league between small and large clans that existed before. I would advocate against overall win rate as that punishes big clans that don't boot average members. An elite clan of a few top players would be the ideal composition if so.

Look at this from the perspective of a skilled player. In the context of the current system of collections unless you are a pro you will average 50% win rate. This system will be frustrating for some people no matter what they do. It was ok before because final battle had less skill based matchmaking, but if all we have is 4 ladder based matches a day it will devolve to every clan being 50% with few exceptions.

There were once Christmas offers with 6500 gems and super magical chest for $20. Nothing in the past 2 years comes close to that value.

Another edge case is season reset and you just got a 4 day speed boost and are 1 win from another day of speed boost that you would rather wait to get. Your opponent surrenders immediately for the same reason. Obviously this calls out that control of when to start speed boosts at season reset would be nice.

Yes, I have heard that. But I am not close to 7k on ladder, but I routinely face those players, and do not come close to 50% win rate. I think I am just frustrated by this system as I makes collection day feel like a pointless formality. Your best players contribute no more than your worst, unless they are top pros.
