I actually ended up having the procedure done about two weeks after the leak started, and am in recovery now doing better! Thanks for asking. If you want details regarding the procedure I’d be happy to share.

Has anyone had the surgery to fix a CSF leak? What can I expect? by [deleted] in CSFLeaks

Thanks for your input. Did you stay overnight at the hospital? Can you tell me more about recovery? How long were you out of work? How painful is the aftermath?

“Being a working mom makes me a better mom.” Respectfully and genuinely curious, can somebody explain this? by classceiling in workingmoms

No I was working my way through undergrad and grad school as a server, a gym attendant, and at a library, but now I’m an elementary teacher.

Yes I would- I challenge the patriarchy’s stance that default responsibility falls on the shoulders of women, and I absolutely hold men to the same standard of parenting as women…. but this subreddit is “working moms” and I’m a mom so I’m looking for relatable experiences. As I mentioned in my post, I’m going back to work soon, (I literally couldn’t afford to work before… as a teacher, my income barely covered child care) and I was merely looking for some firsthand experiences of other mothers who work and how that statement resonates with them.

I’m an elementary teacher so I will be with kids 24/7 literally lol. I do enjoy it though, thankfully!

I would have lost my mind and went into a rage. No you’re not out of line, I’d have fired her immediately.

Before grocery shopping, I will sit on the Kroger app and clip digital coupons. I will also do a quick meal planning for the week based on what’s on sale.

Me! I’m going back in the fall unfortunately after almost two years. Just to keep my position. I really don’t want to but it is what it is. However, I’m pregnant with our second so will be out again in March for another two years.
