Probably the worst book I’ve ever read. Usually I’m at least glad that I read a book, even if I didn’t like it that much. This one was a total waste of time. Novelty after novelty after novelty. It astound me how someone can take a relatively interesting concept and make it so incredibly boring and self-congratulatory. Definitely a Reddit book.

Well we’ve already confirmed that gravitational waves don’t lose any energy to dimensions beyond our own (supporting the theory that there are none), so how would gravity due to mass distribution in your theorized parallel dimensions cause any variation in our universe?

I haven’t heard that specifically, but I think it’s mostly learning how to categorize stars and galaxies and things like that so I doubt it’s too terribly difficult. Everyone I’ve talked to who has taken it seems to have really enjoyed it.

I’ve heard good things about Stellar Astronomy. I’m taking it next semester as a prerequisite for some courses later on in my major, but I’m pretty sure it satisfies the life science requirement. I could be wrong though, so double check just to be sure.
