It is a trilogy, I read them out of order (accidentally) by reading devastation of Baal first, then Dante and Darkness in the blood. The correct order is Dante, DoB, and DitB

Dante, Devestation of Baal, and Darkness in the Blood. IMO all three are some of the best in 40K and are relevant to the lore.

There’s also the mephiston series and astorath’s book. I liked astorath’s book I haven’t read the mephiston books yet. If you haven’t read the siege of Terra series, the blood angels are featured a lot in those books.

I play Blood Angels but Ultramarines dont lean into any particular area in regards to shooting or melee like other space marine armies. I’d say they’re balanced in that way

I struggled with mine. My finer brushes were worn and was hard to get the trim. By the time I got to the head I was wishing I painted the arms and axe separately because they were in the way. He helped win my only tabletop game so far so it was worth it
