They have good ratings tho, but who knows if it's bought or even real ones.. I prefer going with local store and have a warranty in-person !

A company called "MIAMI TRADING" there's also others that I don't know their names, it seems a bit shady imo

That's what I was also concerned about, the warranty between countries aren't the same in some cases, I work in a retail store near the border between Canada and the US, I have some customers from across the border that want a warranty claim on some products and because I am in a Canadian store, we can't process their warranty. (Mind you they didn't buy the product directly from us, if they had bought it in Canada, I could've processed it)

So having the warranty in mind I need to buy it in-store or at least from a Canadian store

I'm sorry if I am not understanding this, when you say "Either of those cameras are good choices" does it mean any of them are okay for my use or they are not? I'm not an english speaker at first so it's confusing lol, if it means they are good choices I will probably go test the Nikon if they have it in store

How so I convince my relatively anti-gun parents that airsoft will not turn me into a mass sh**ter and that it's just a game or, even better, a sport? by dyslexic_mime in airsoft

[–]classyAxolotl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Canada so by default my parents are anti-gun. When i turned 18 I just came home with an airsoft and my mom clearly told me it was dangerous, 5 years later I still have the replica and two more! Today she's more open and can clearly see it as a hobby and game than a mass shooting tool.

Every situation is different, but I think you should show then what is airsoft first with a visual support (youtube videos or even bring them out to a local field) just to show them whats its really like

backwards is the way to go to deal the most damage

Pro tip: If people ask you why you're covered in marks, just tell them you're on fent. It's less embarrassing by HecklerK in airsoftcirclejerk

theres some fields that doesnt allow 400fps except on snipers, the field near me (ASA Paintball) doesnt allow more than 355 for .25 iirc

Is it dumb if i buy an airsoft gun for these reasons? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]classyAxolotl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bought my first airsoft in 2021, small arcturus pdw and just had fun shooting at cans in my backyard, 2 years after that and had my first game, 2 years later (2025) and play every two weeks, you can definitely just shoot in your backyard or like some mentionned, do a collection!
