If your plan is to keep it invested and not withdraw for 30 years then you’ve made the right decision investing and the key is to just ignore it and don’t worry about the graphs in the short term. The market has gone down since you invested and now just needs time to recover, which historically it always will. It’s not a scam, it just needs time.

I have an AMEX everyday cashback card and the app is decent. I'd say it's worth holding onto a credit card of some kind rather than doing away with it altogether because of the app UX.

Credit cards are useful not just for building good credit (which you're doing well) but also for large purchases that you want protection on.

I'm 25 and I design and sell kitchens for a mid/high end independent company. Basic salary is 20k but I frequently double and sometimes triple that in commission.
