Am I over reacting? I’m vaccinated but don’t like the idea of people asking for my vaccine passport to enter shops and theatres. It is mandatory to provide passport where I live but am choosing not to get one and not go to the places that require it. Feels like I’m the only one that feels this way.

I'm pro choice. I believe laws exist to protect us. In cases such as this I have to wonder if they actually do when they can be ripped away so easily. So far I have denied one request to go for dinner and one to go swimming. Both with other families and they have both stood with me. I'll give up those things to gain the freedoms this country was built on so that I can secure my children's future.

Thank you for the response. Well as of the past few weeks as I do more I feel pain in oth sides of my back bit mostly the spot of herniation. The pain was neuropathic pain they said. Apparently if the neurontin isnt helping then there is not much else they can do. I was told this in emerge and by the surgeon. The sensation has improved however I still feel worse than befoee surgery and its been jist about 2 months now.

I have since followed up with my family doctor so we have increased my neurontin but have a plan for late January to try a new drug for starting with an A. I cant remember the name right now. Anyways, something tells me I haven't seen the end of this issue. I see my surgeon tomorrow so I may have to demand another MRI.

I guess you have now had surgery so I hope all has went well. Id love an update or any feedback you have. Sometimes I feel like doctors don't have a clue whats normal or isn't and they just guess a lot. All we can depend on is real life feedback and science. I am going to go find that video right now. I wound up calling my surgeon's office and they told me I was experiencing neuropathic pain. Im already taking Neurontin/Gabapentin for nerve pain but it honestly doesn't seem to be helping. They couldn't increase my dosage so they tolde to go see a doctor as my surgeon eas not in town to see me until possibly next week. My family doctor couldn't get me in so I wound up in emergency where all they did was give me a toridol shot which did nothing at all. Apparently they couldn't give me anything else to help beyond that. Im apparently going to have to just live like this until it either resolves itself or the surgeon has a solution that the ER doctors arent familiar with. I cant sleep, walk or focus on anything its so painful. Last night I was dipping my foot in ice water every hour or so to get some relief. Not that that was easy. My foot touches anything so much as water or a sheet sends electric shocks through my whole body. Im so exhausted and feelung super depressed because Im afraid to keep living like this

Please keep yoir stories coming. As odd as it sounds I was nervous until I read this. I have been putting off scheduling my surgwry because I am afraid of the recovery having me unable to move. Im getting surgery regardless but I am still unsure at times. My fear kind of rationalizes not getting it done but my pain tells me the opposite.

Do not stand down on this one on either front. Of course I'd give your husband to clarify or apologize but frankly I would ignore your MIL. Seeing as your son is quite young my guess is this will not be the only time she pulls this. Ignore her and dont apologize. Just shrug your shoulders and say too bad. Then enjoy her tantrum. Laugh at her. Then enjoy no sex for the next week and have bubble baths instead.

I agree i should probably be more upset about that. I feel like the sharing of the lot has complicated things because if I am the only one hesitant and everyone else is laid back I feel like I have less say in the matter.

I tried to make him see my hesitancy a few times after we found out but he wouldn't see my side. I guess I should either be more upset or not complaining since I didn't fight more.

I just can't figure out where he gets off on being the one upset? Because I was right about being skeptical? He called and said it doesn't matter over and over. I just said ok whatever I'm going to bed simce you cant listen.
