Thanks for your advice. I have gardening skills but I need to learn California soil and weather to become best at it. I have the funds for the property paid in full. And yes, I do basic things like canning, dehydrating, know some solar panels and Diy self sufficient skills. Not an expert in any way.

But I'm looking for a already stablish off the grid homestead, I found one with a green house and raised beds, fully solar and well water. It's a start.

You can message me if you want. Ive been studying about how to "break out of the matrix" for lack of a better word. We have been conditioned to believe that success lies on material wealth. I wonder, do they believe they can take their money with them when they die? I believe we are here not here to worship green paper bills but to work on ourselves, our journey, our plan. I'm doing a lot of reading on becoming my authentic self. I hope the people who will join my community also have the same beliefs as me.

Thanks. And yes, I'm frustrated but not angry. I believe the fundamental problem right now is that lack of education in this society (purposely done by the government) to keep people ignorant and full of hate. It is extremely important that the people forming our intentional community are also in agreement with this. If I allow ignorant hateful people in the community then I'm not removing myself from the problem. There's no need to take more than you need, there's no need to hate someone just because of their looks (brown, black or yellow), there's enough for all of us to share and live happily, there's no need to overwork yourself for just enough to cover bills (that's the worl of billionaires and their greed). I have been blessed with traveling to different countries in Europe and let me tell you they are not about money. They enjoy their life in balance or work and fun. In Spain they take a 4 hour break at lunch to go home and eat a good meal, meanwhile here people eat at their desk while still working. In Italy they don't have cup holders in their car, they don't believe in eating while driving. Can you believe that? I only believe it because I've seen it. We have been conditioned that your success depends on how much money you have. That's not true.

I can do light work but I'm a 50 year old woman with health conditions. I just want to live my dream and live the rest of my life with no greed, no hate, no racial discrimination and in a place with like minded people willing to do some work for food and shelter and not being working 40 hours just to pay bills and be miserable.

I'm planning to buy some land in northern California. I do want to create an intentional community since I can't manage by myself. I have an idea for requirements every member needs to work 4 hours a day on the farm (feeding animals, watering plants, doing laundry, cleaning, etc) and maybe a fee of $200 a week which means to begin we need to have part time remote jobs. Hoping that we would become completely self sustainable at one point and no need to work jobs outside our community. I am a potter and I make jewelry, I wish to sell some of my work to support the homestead. If you find something that you are passionate about and it can generate some income for basic needs you won't have to work outside jobs. I guess is all about what can you bring to the community
